Went to get a quick bite to eat. The tacos were cool, but these wedges are a mess, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Its 2025 and food is too high to be throwing it away. These folk need to do better. I know finding help is hard but these folk. I’m on hold as we speak to make compliant. I have been on hold for 15 mins, and I hear them laughing and talking in the background. The lady at the window was nice though.

Update: l tired to call the corp number. Giving me the run around. The number said compliant but was asking if l was a share holder. But it was some big wigs sitting im there on they lab tops.

Living just up the street this was a convenient and favorite spot. Then things got bad. Just tried it out again after a pause and was made very happy. Whoever is in charge now cares. While waiting I was shown that. A group of, what I assume, management were having a impromptu meeting. Spoke with a new train. They were stern but encouraging. They gave pride to the staff member. When I got home the food was as I had hoped and remembered.
The interior could use some help, and based on the conversation, will be getting it done soon.
So happy to have a favorite back on track!
I realize that this is “just” a fast food place. That does not remove pride in oneself or one’s work.

The food wasn’t great. The taste was fine, but the fries were cold. Our sauced & loaded tacos were just thrown in the box with all the toppings thrown on top of the pile of tacos. It wasn’t as described as, “filled with sauce, cheese sauce, and lettuce”. Those things were just piled on top of the regular tacos.
The service was awful. The girl in the drive through was super snippy, impatient, and messed up the screen as she was taking our order so we had to repeat the whole thing.
We tried order the popcorn chicken as we had that location pulled up on the website but they denied having it despite being able to order that online.
Then when we picked up the food we had to ask for the sauces we already asked for in the order line. Then she didn’t even know what the avocado lime sauce was. When we showed her our receipt, she said, oh we don’t have any. Then offered taco sauce.
We will give Jack in the box another try, but definitely not this location. There’s so many amazing places to eat a meal in STL, we won’t waste our time and money here.

Dining Room Always Closed — Unfair and Ridiculous Experience

I honestly don’t understand how this Jack in the Box thinks it’s okay to keep their dining room permanently locked. Every time I come to this location, the doors are closed, and you’re forced to sit in a drive-thru line for 30, 40, sometimes even 50 minutes — just to order something simple like tacos or fries.

They also keep saying, “We’re only taking online orders after a certain time.” Okay… but where is that posted? It’s nowhere on the website, nowhere on the door, nowhere on the app. Everyone doesn’t have a car or a delivery app account, and that’s flat-out discriminatory. I shouldn’t have to DoorDash or Uber Eats my food when I’m standing right outside the restaurant.

The food itself isn’t the problem — it’s decent. The real issue is the lack of basic customer service and total disregard for accessibility and communication. I’m glad I reached out to the district manager to complain, and hopefully someone at a higher level steps in. Maybe management needs to be replaced, because this has gone on long enough. And just so it’s clear — every time I come here and it’s like this again, I’ll be contacting the DM to report it.

The team was so helpful trying to help the customer in front of us but their card was not working. But that caused us to wait about 20 mins to get our order and the fries was already cold. Other than this it was good the food, the friendliness, and the experience were good.

Went through the drive thru so I can’t give a mark on Atmosphere. The Tacos were amazing as always. I wish they would open up more places in the Southern Illinois area. I have to drive 2 hours to get there. It’s a hassle, but I love the tacos!

Horrible! Dry burger is missing a tomato and was room temperature. Fries were over cooked and crunchy. Girl didn’t give a receipt (or napkins). Tried calling but no one answered. Ordered TWO #5s and paid $20 for this mess. This isn’t the first time. The same thing happened with breakfast. I’m done! Don’t waste your time.

I don’t like this jack n the box the cook is rude and doesn’t know how to make a damn lettuce wrap burger even when it’s explained how to make one. I truly think this jack n the box should have been shut down or they need better workers.
