Work ethic is dead! I stopped at here (at 8:30am) to get breakfast on my way in to cancer treatment. I pull up to the order menu and no one answered. I had to keep backing up & pulling forward over the notifier just to get some one to talk to to me. A guy comes on and says “Sorry, um, we’re closed”, I said “what? At 8:30 in the morning?? You serve breakfast, its kind of your job to be open”, He said “well, we’re not closed but we don’t have anything prepped. And the oil isn’t hot or anything”
“So you’re open but not operating??” OK, well tell that to the line of workers behind me who just need a warm breakfast for heading into work.
Stupid! So once again, McDonald’s saved the day for us. Thanks McDonald’s for actually getting up and functioning in the service industry. Jack in the Box….thanks for nothing. Something is going on here and it’s definitely not legit. Or really work.

I’m writing this review for Alex, who may be the manager? It was our first time at Jack in the box and you could tell how excited and passionate he was to tell us about the food. He ensured we had a great experience and I was absolutely blown away by his hospitality.

Make sure you check your order before you leave if using the drive thru. Multiple errors on our visit. Missing sauce, which we were specifically told was put in the bag, missing a hashbrown to a breakfast combo, was shorted a drink AND given a smaller drink than we ordered. The food we did get was satisfactory and as expected just wish we had gotten everything we ordered instead of finding out once we got home.

Would rate a zero but can’t. NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. I think this location has some kinda criminal stuff going on. Over the past year I’ve attempted to order from this location maybe 10 times and have only actually been served a meal twice. I’ve tried going different times also to see if anything was different. The employees are there and clocked in for all hours of the night but turn away customers anywhere from 10pm-4am depending on the day. The excuses are either “ran out of food” or “system is down”. Not to mention one of the employees (maybe a night manager?) (25-30yrs old, African American, feminine voice) is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have a recording of him not opening the window to let me pay for a meal and I had sat there for 20 minutes confused, literally just waiting to pay for my order. No altercation or words exchanged. He waited until the store was considered closed, then called the cops because I was waiting at the window to pay. Even the officers were confused. Aside from that visit though, they are always open but will not work or serve food. Something is going on with this location but not sure what it is.

The manager (maybe just a cook im not sure) or whatever she is, that works at this location, is absolutely awful. We ordered tiny tacos with cheese, and a loaded tiny taco. The guy working the speaker and drive thru was very nice and was trying so hard to get our order right. We come up to the window and he verifies again what we want, and he tells the hispanic lady who i assume is his boss. She was awful and rude to him just for telling her to put cheese on the regular tiny tacos. He hands us our food and asks us to check if theres cheese on the regular tiny tacos, and there isnt. He tries to tell the “manager” again that he told her to put cheese on the tacos and she gets IN HIS FACE and tells him to “calm down” when the only person who wasnt calm, was her. I felt so bad for the drive thru guy, she was absolutely NASTY to her coworkers who simply are trying to make sure the food was right. And because of her it wasnt. This happened around 11:35 on 11/11, so whoever that lady was on shift doesnt deserve to work there.

I saw that the Jack’s Spicy Chicken combo comes with tomato and cheese but mine didn’t have any. They never clarify the order. Also they don’t specify whether what size combo and just charge you the largest size. Be wary of this location. The guy seemed to be working by himself so most likely the issue is with the owner / management.

WARNING: Disgusting Behavior and Racist Treatment
READ THIS CAREFULLY. If you see the owner reply with one of those empty copy-paste apologies, it’s carelessness. This franchise has a deep rot in its staff culture, and they clearly don’t care who’s running the drive-thru.

Let’s walk through what happened, and prepare yourself, because this isn’t just about bad service. It’s about racial stereotyping, verbal abuse, and a flat-out refusal to be held accountable.

My wife, a Hispanic woman, pulled into the drive-thru around 4:50 PM, hoping to grab a quick bite. Simple tacos. The guy on the speaker immediately said they didn’t have any. Fine, maybe they were out. She then asked for chicken. He responded again that they had none. She didn’t quite hear him, so she politely said, “Excuse me? I didn’t hear”…. What came next? He SCREAMED through the speaker, “WE HAVE NO CHICKEN!”

She left, shocked, embarrassed, and hurt. She called me immediately in disbelief. “He was yelling,” she said. “Rude. Aggressive. Condescending.” And with a THICK Hispanic accent, which she only mentioned because it stood out. We weren’t suspicious at first, until everything unfolded.

I submitted a formal complaint to Jack in the Box online while simultaneously calling the store over 10 times. No answer. Not once. Same number listed on the website and receipts. Useless.

Once she got home, I jumped in the car and went straight to the location myself.

I was calm and curious. I ordered tacos, the very same ones my wife was told were “not available.” Guess what? The order went through without issue. Not a hiccup. I pulled up to the window and saw a Black male at the window, sagging pants, drawers showing, completely unprofessional.

At that point, I assumed maybe a shift change had occurred. Still, something wasn’t right. I circled back, ready to ask questions and try ordering a chicken sandwich, the other item they supposedly didn’t have. This time, I recorded everything.

Chicken? AVAILABLE. No issues. Smooth order.

Now at the window, I asked who was handling the drive-thru earlier. His answers were bizarre and inconsistent. “It’s been just me,” he said. Wait… what?

That means the guy who screamed at my wife wasn’t Hispanic at all. He was MOCKING a Hispanic accent to belittle her, a Hispanic woman, at a drive-thru window. Let that sink in.

I calmly told him what happened. His reply:
“Oh well. Nothing I can do about it right now.”
I asked who the manager was. “I’m here by myself.”
“So you were here an hour ago?”
“Yea, just me, so what?”

When I told him she was told they had no tacos or chicken and that she was yelled at, he barely reacted. Just brushed it off with “we didn’t have it then,” then slammed the window on me.

While I stood there stunned, I watched him toss the sandwich onto the counter carelessly, then stuff it sideways into a bag with the opening facing down. Filthy, lazy handling. When I asked who to complain to next time about attitude, he closed the window in my face. Again.

So now I ask the Jack in the Box OWNER:

What will you do now? Not say, but do!
You’ve got this employee listed on the receipt as “Damesia.” Is he still employed? Why is a single person being left to run the store alone on a weekend when it’s clearly documented in past reviews this location is severely understaffed?

And most importantly, why is it acceptable to scream at customers, lie about food availability, then MOCK their ethnicity and gender in return?

If I don’t receive a real answer, expect this to go beyond reviews. I’ll go public. I’ll take this to corporate. I’ll escalate it on every channel and share the RECORDED VIDEO that documents this disgraceful behavior.

To those reading: if this enrages you like it enraged me, don’t let it slide. Leave your own review. Share this. Because clearly, silence is what lets these places keep people like that on payroll.

I’m not here for “we’ll do better next time.” I want to know exactly what action was taken and when this employee was terminated.

Sunday, May 25 between 4:50 – 5:00 PM
