Benny’s, in my opinion, is the best pizza spot in Lynchburg. They always got unique options for a slice of pizza on top of your regular cheese, pepperoni. The inside has a really cool aesthetic, great place just to hangout as well. Pizza always tastes amazing.

Huge slices. We got a bruschetta and a sausage slice. Its pizza…but big. Nice NY style crust— thin, chewy. Worth the drive into town

Definitely should have taken pictures but my hands are full, their signature pizza was so large that it actually had to go in the hatch of my vehicle and had to be tilted to make it through the front door of my home which is hilarious and wonderful. The pizza is delicious and crisp if you reheat it in a frying pan for about 3 to 4 minutes and then splash a tablespoon of water and put a lid on top you’ll have a crispy bottom crust and a soft upper crust and bubbly cheese. Highly recommend

I love their enormous slices! It is amazing how big they are for such a small price! And the pepperoni is always perfectly cooked! The staff is always friendly and helpful. And to make the place even better they’ve added pinball and centipede and miss Pac-Man! I could literally spend my whole day going back in time to my teens dropping 20 bucks on centipede! Great family friendly place.

Edit: late 12/24 After a long hiatus I decided to give Benny’s another shot and the Versace is a killer slice. Besides the bruschetta this is my favorite special they offer. Compared to many of the others these two are more conducive to a slice.
Benny’s casual atmosphere and the ability to grab a quick slice to go has always made it an attractive option. It’s simple, to the point pizza with specials to jazz things up. When done right it’s a great slice for $5-6
That said, after my last few visits the quality has taken a hit overall and the specials don’t seem to have the same effort as before. It’s been disappointing but I’m still willing to give them another shot

I had no idea that the slices or whole pies were this huge! I had to transport the pizza in my trunk. A slice is so big that it hung over the plate. The taste is unique from other chains in the area, and the crust is delicious.
I was satisfied with my first experience and will recommend it if you’re looking for great pizza. The price point of $36 is not bad for the size, and you can actually cut the huge slices into smaller slices if you choose.

Excellent New York style pizza. The size of the 28 inch pizza is worth the price in sheer shock and awe value. Lol

We came in to visit relatives and go to the Liberty football game. After church on Sunday we decided to try Benny’s out. The pizza wasn’t great, and wasn’t bad. Just so so. We came in with 11 all together. The gal that took our order wasn’t unfriendly, wasn’t friendly. She basically pointed to the back and told us where a big table was, but we took the chairs off the table so we could use it. We asked for water, but they don’t even have ice. She brought a couple of pitchers of water, sat the pizza down and we never saw anybody again. The service left a lot to be desired. What it felt like was that they were doing there best to get people to do take out and discourage people from dining in. It was recommended, but I can’t. Sorry!

Always a nice time to grab a NY style slice of pizza! They don’t have many flavors but they are good at what they do. Typically have the normal cheese, pepperoni, sausage, garlic and mushroom and then they have flavors of the month. You are in and out within minutes. Huge slices! About $6-$8 per person.

I ate the pizza too fast and enjoyed it too much to take a pic!
From San Diego to Atlanta and Twice around Vegas, this is the biggest and best slice of pizza I have had…Hands down and I just saw two guys throwing dough…Right on!
The spot is cool! I didnt have my coloring pens and pencils so i couldnt partake in the graffiti and wall doodles left by other hungry customers!
