The burgers here are fantastic! Small burger with a big punch!! The crinkle fries are good as well. My bf and I went on a Monday evening around 9ish at night. That gave us an intimate sense on our first time, which we were recommended to go. A definite revisit!

Totally loved the atmosphere, the food and the service! We ordered the Dr. Gonzo and the Chiflet burger. Both were SUPER JUICY and full of flavor. The crinkle fries were fresh. I dipped my fries in the JB sauce. Too delicious! The music and decor was such an awesome vibe. Our waitress was friendly from the moment we stepped foot inside. And most importantly they have a wide range of beer selections. Import, domestic and local beer. Please try this place out. You will definitely not regret your visit!!!

Great food and great service, hands down. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor — exactly what you want from a burger spot. The menu is solid, and the quality definitely stands out. I stopped to pick up dinner for my husband, myself and my 17 year old pug that was due to be put down the next day.
The servers and management were functioning like a well-oiled machine, they were so attentive even though the restaurant was busy. I gabbed to the sweet angel bartender about the cheeseburger order and how it was for my dog’s send-off meal, and I figured they would just take care to not add onions or salt/pepper. Boy did they prove me wrong.
As I waited for my tab to be returned, another beautiful human came around to my side of the bar to tell me that the manager picked up not only my dog’s burger, but our whole order. (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but she was so lovely and amazing and beautiful and comforting.)
This type of kindness is so rare and so hard to come by, I just hope y’all know how much this gesture meant to me, my husband and to Stella. She hadn’t eaten in 2 days and she DEVOURED that burger. The kindness they showed our little family was such a light in an incredibly difficult time. Thank you so much to the staff and management, we were fans before but now I will tell anyone that will listen what a great place this is, run by the kindest people and the burgers SLAP.
Also I used to hate crinkle fries until I had them here so that’s another plus.

This Place has the Most Taste Tempting, Mouth Watering variety of Burgers I have ever found !!
When you walk in your eyes go every where, the atmosphere is happy, easy, and fun. The people are so Friendly. You Just have to Stop in a Try one of their Burgers and the mixed drinks are righteous also

My FAVORITE place to get a burger in Memphis! My usual order is the CLASSIC JACK. You literally don’t have to do anything to this burger when you order it. No extras, no changes. Just pick it up and eat it!
I’ve been here on several occasions and I might venture out and order something different – maybe one of the daily specials. But maybe NOT lol! I love that classic burger, with the fries and JB SAUCE! Even the pickle spears are good! Heck, even the SPRITE is good!
My mouth is watering just recounting my most recent visit there. Service is great, the folks are nice. The set up is your neighborhood bar. Love it there!

I crave Jack Brown’s burgers. Like mouthwatering craving. They have the best burger in Memphis without a doubt. I get the Classic Jack, no modifications, with a side of fries. The JB Sauce is killer on both the burgers and the fries. I’m pregnant and craving a burger, and this burger and fries is everything I wanted it to be and more. Pricing is good, too. I enjoy every experience at this restaurant. Definitely a college bar vibe. It’s the sort of place with so much on the walls that you’ll notice something new every time you go, which I love. It feels very local, like with Polaroid photos on the wall. Some of the decor is not kid friendly (albeit it’s a bar so duh). My husband and I joke that we will take our kids here on their 21st birthdays and finally buy them the best burger in town.
Only thing I’d mention that you need to think ahead about is that the place is small and it can be hard to seat everyone at one table if you have a bigger party and it’s right at a meal time rush. A larger party came in after we had sat at the only table that was left. A man at a small table ended up leaving, so we shifted to that table so that the bigger group could take the table for 6. Just be aware of that and arrive before the rush if you have a larger group.
It’s worth any wait you might have. If you visit, it will be the start of a JB addiction. You won’t want to go anywhere else for a burger. Consider yourself warned.

It was our first time here but I had heard good things about this place and we were not disappointed. It was busy at noon on a Saturday but we found a place to sit, our waiter was prompt and friendly! Skye explained everything we needed to know and answered our questions.
The food arrived quickly and was DELICIOUS! We each had a burger and shared crinkle fries and each had a Guinness beer. The burgers were cooked to perfection. 100% Wagyu beef loaded with flavor and topped to perfection! Total bill for two $46 and it was worth every penny! We will be back!

In all honesty — this review was prompted by a freebie. A bribe. It worked, obviously. And I appreciate the prompt to use my phone for good.
Nevertheless, I think this place is worth a return visit. The fries really stood out to me. Crinkle and crisp. I got them loaded which were pretty good but definitely a thing to get on occasion.
The burger! Decently seasoned; the meat did quite a bit of the lifting. Shroom, swiss, and onions on mine because I like the funk. Decently sized and comparatively priced.
Nice bar atmosphere without being too… bar. Friendly, attentive staff with good personality.
And! Coke Zero. No Diet Coke. This is the way.
