WOW! I tried Big Bites after seeing an advertisement in the mail. Very nice and clean building with dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru options available. The food was hot, fresh, and had a delicious flavor. One member of my party had the chicken burger with fries and I had the 5-piece tenders with cajun fries and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was white cheddar and hot and delicious. The tender sauce was awesome with a little kick. The portion sizes were great and the prices were reasonable considering the quantity and quality of food. The employee at the register was very friendly and even bagged up condiments and utensils so I didn’t have to get them myself. If you are in the area, definitely check out this place. I will definitely be returning.

The chicken sandwich while a bit pricey for its size, but it did taste good. (A bit more crunch from the pecans would have been nice but the lettuce is a nice touch.)
The cajun fries are great, with the best portions for a large fry.
Love a good local drive thru
Thanks!

I wanted to give this location a chance since it is family owned and businesses have a hard time staying in that location.. but I was extremely disappointed in the food quantity and quality for a place that just opened.
First issue: I got a chicken burger with cheese combo meal and it wasn’t even a chicken patty, it was two pieces of chicken tenders in between two buns with toppings. Photo attached. If I wanted that, I’d go to Canes down the road. That was the first thing that upset me because if you look at the photos they advertise, it looks like a decent size chicken patty with all the normal burger toppings. It was not even close.
Speaking of Canes, this locations secret sauce is just Canes/Zaxbys sauce with a different name. This is not a complaint just an observation.
Second issue: The amount of fries that they give you for a meal was absolutely disrespectful. Maybe like 10-13 single fries. Photo attached. That really got me upset with this location because you can get more fries literally anywhere else for the price you pay to make your meal a combo. You can see the empty space in the to-go box where more fries should be and I promise I didn’t eat any before I took the photo.
For almost a $13 meal I was hungrier when I finished eating than when I started and I had to go to the store and get more food for dinner. That may have been because we just came from the gym and were hungry but i could get more and better food for less money at other places.
In the end, I’ll likely try it again in the future if it’s still around and see if there’s been any changes have been made but unfortunately, it will not be a weekly visit for me like the previous restaurant was. It felt like they took shortcuts to make the food and were stingy with how much they gave you.
On a smaller positive note, the inside feels nicer inside than the previous restaurant and I liked their wallpaper. Unfortunately there is no Coke freestyle machine like before so you’re limited to the handful of options they have.
I hope the best for this business and never want to see a place fail, but huge changes will need to be made if it wants to survive in that location. A part of me hopes that someone messed up in the back and it was made wrong but I don’t think so since it was done to mine and my girlfriends meal.
If you don’t believe me, please support the business and try it for yourself.

JTown Big Bites recently opened and we visited the first weekend it was open. Occupying what used to be WNB, JTown Big Bites is a welcome addition to J-Town.
The inside is no longer yellow, but more of a white and red motif (Thank You for that!) The tables and chairs are still the same, and I still swear they have the lightest chairs On Earth.
The menu is well sized for the eatery. The menu has chicken. There is no other meat than chicken.
No beef.
No pork.
No fish.
Just chicken.
I ordered the Chicken Cheese Burger and decided to make mine a combo, adding fries and a drink. My wife had the Chicken Salad Lettuce Wrap. Our food was delivered in less than ten minutes and it was hot and fresh. My chicken burger we very tasty and served on a brioche bun. I’d have preferred a few more pickles, but it was still delicious. The fries were VERY good and seasoned well. They also gave me sample of their “secret sauce” for my fries..and it was REALLY good. A bit like Thousand Island, but better. It was VERY tasty. My wife raved about the chicken salad lettuce wrap, especially the inclusion of fresh apples and grapes.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. He helped steer us to the right choices and answered all of our questions with no problem. The owner (Andy) also came out and talked to use for about 15 minutes, getting our impressions and thoughts of the food.
They also offer chicken tenders, veggie burgers, salads, and non-fry sides, like Mac-n-Cheese, Cole Slaw, Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes. It’s this kind of variety that makes JTown Big Bites so awesome.
While WNB didn’t utilize the drive-thru, JTown Big Bites absolutely does for those time when you don’t have time to go inside and wait. They also provide call-in ordering and will eventually on their website as well.
After our first visit to JTown Big Bites, my wife and I are fans. The food is good, the staff is great, and it’s very reasonably priced.

Overall I liked it, nothing like knocked my socks off but canes doesn’t knock my socks off either , chicken is seasoned , fries where good , the big bites special sauce is realllyyyy good , my only thing was the mash potato’s those were pretty bad no seasoning no salt. They taste like I bit into a raw potato but everything else was pretty good I would go back

My husband picked up an order for me from this eating establishment. It is a chicken restaurant and that is what it serves… chicken meals. I decided to try it because of all the high reviews. My husband looked inside and said it was an immaculate building with a welcoming interior. The person taking his order was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered a 3-piece chicken tender meal with Cajun fries and macaroni and cheese. The enclosed special sauce was so yummy! The chicken tenders were delicious and extremely tender. The sides were quite good as well. I would definitely give this meal a 10/10. We will definitely try more food from here. My only disappointment was that the sweet tea was not sweet enough by my standards. Don’t shoot the messenger, she loves SWEET tea. You guys need to come down and try this new place in Jtown. You will love the food.

I have been sitting in the drive through for at least 15 mins so far. There’s only one person ahead of me. No one will answer at the speaker to take my order, even after several minutes of saying hello. Then, I had to place my order at the window, and all the guy could say was he was busy. Might have been nice for him to acknowledge me at the speaker to let me know things were running slowly. There was, of course, no apology, just a shrug. To top it off, the manager asked me to pull up, so he could take care of the person behind me. Funny how that same courtesy was not shown to me. This was an all around bad experience at a place I previously liked, so I won’t be back again. I would not recommend this place, unless you enjoy extremely long wait times and poor customer service. It’s unfortunate because the food is actually good.

The place was very clean and organized, the service was very good! They were patient with my little sister who is just recently learning to order for herself and quick to bring out our food. They made sure to double check everything was in the bag before giving it to me. The atmosphere was filled with happy people and tasty food.

Big Bites???? HA HA google has them as a KFC restaurant but its Jtown chicken. Their mash potatoes come in a container the size of dipping sauce, literally 2 teaspoon bites and they only have tiny chicken tenders, not other chicken offers. for 20 dollars I got 2 tiny chicken tenders a tiny cup of mash potatoes and a chicken sandwich. If you are looking for good chicken and sides I would drive farther and find a real KFC or raisen canes. See the pic attached of the tiny cup of potatoes and they cost 2.00 for the 2 bites of potatoes.

Have no problem with the service. Person serving was nice and food came out quick enough. I ordered the 8 piece tenders, with side of Mac and cheese, bread and Cajun fries. For 20$ equaling 2.50$ per tender I was hoping the high price I would get a decent amount of food or really good chicken as there are numerous choices everywhere. Unfortunately the chicken fingers had minimal flavor and were rubbery only saved somewhat by the sauce, the Mac and cheese was a tiny cup less than what you’d get at KFC and was bland, the Cajun fries had decent flavor but were overcooked and dry, the best part was the bread. I don’t think I will frequent this establishment again but wish the owners well. I will add a caveat that I came later in the night approximately an hour prior to closing so maybe the quality had dropped from what others have experienced but I was very dissatisfied of the quality and flavor coupled with the price.
