$14.99 for chicken fettuccine Alfredo with RAW broccoli and served in a salad bowl. Most overpriced meal I’ve had in a very OMG time! Plain white bread cold butter wrapped in foil. No flavor. Chicken parmigiana was the worst I’ve ever had. Basically a big bowl of cheese that isn’t even browned on top. They do not flavor anything with fresh ingredients and I would be surprised if anything in that restaurant wasn’t frozen. This place is totally off their rocker for charging such prices.

My wife and one of children stopped in tonight to check out the new place in town. I can say I would have much rather made something at home. We ordered the Crab and Bacon dip to start us off and it was terrible. No flavor at all and very little actual chess to make it a dip. It was simply a little bit of cheese with crab pieces and bacon on top not even mixed up. No flavor or spice added at all. Then our salads came and I can say without a doubt a better salad can be found in a bad on the produce section at any of your local groceries stores. To top it all off I ordered a baked ziti and my wife ordered the lasagna. They both came out bland and watered down. You can find much better flavoring from a frozen stouffers meal than what was put on our table.

Came for lunch and had a calzone with pepperoni and onions. Staff is friendly and the owner came around to see how everything is going. I like responsible ownership and attentiveness. The food can use some improvement. The calzone itself was properly listed on the menu with ricotta, mozz, and add 1 item. I always make sure a calzone will have ricotta, otherwise it just is not a calzone. When the fiod came out, the waitress acknowledged that the calzone had fallen flat and apologized, saying this happens 1 in 5 times and they would remake it if I like. I said no and ate what they served. Now, we all know calzones do not just fall flat 1 in 5 times. Calzones fall flat because te dough was either frozen and not properly thawed, or it was old dough that went to far past the rising stage. So, no point in asking for another. The dough was terrible as expected at this point, but the ingredients were well proportioned. The side marinara sauce was served hot; my personal preference is chilled. My suggestion is to not screw up the dough and especially do not allow expired dough to be used for meals. Throw it away properly. Everyone knows when dough has gone bad but was used to make a meal anyways. My next suggestion is about the bread served before the meal. Instead of foil wrapped butter pats, use a mixture of oil and spices. If you need an examole, go to Carrabas to see how it is done.

Last night my girl friend wanted to go to the new place in Etowah , J Michaels. We got there about 7:15 . Had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for a seat There were plenty of seats available.Waitress finally came and we ordered some wine and the spaghetti dinner for two. Included was an Anteposto salad and Ministrone soup . We chose the salad.About ten minutes later the wine came. 10 or fifteen minutes later the salad came, not an Anteposto salad. Just a lot of lettuce. The waitress got the salad dressing wrong. Gave me Thousand Island instead of Italian which I ordered. Took another 10 to 15 minutes to get that right. Meanwhile I didn’t eat my salad . I waited for the right dressing. I don’t like Thousand Island. Had to ask for bread, when it came it was cold. A couple of pieces. Cold butter and cold bread, great combination. Finally , I’M getting Pissed and told the waitress I wasn’t happy. Still no food, after about 45 minutes to an hour. Waitress never offered to fill her wine glass up, my date was out. Had to ask her for some more wine. Then the manager , the owner comes up and I told her. Is everything OK, she said, I said NO. I took her to the side and told her my complaint. When the spaghetti did come it was good, The manage finally brought two meager pieces of hot bread. The manager complained that some of he staff didn’t show up and that she was short handed. Not My Problem. I told her , if that was the case, inform me and I would have gone somewhere else. But My date and I have gone through what was to be a pleasant dining experience was not an evening where I no longer wanted to eat because I was so mad. She didn’t want to eat. We were upset. Now, my stomach hurt. I was so upset that my food was coming back up. Never saw our waitress again. Ever. No one ever brought the bill, I had to go up to the desk and ask for my bill. Again, extremely unprofessional. I was upset, my date was upset. I told the manager, the owner our experience. She said , I’m sorry. I tend to agree with her completely. She offered a gift certificate. I told her I didn’t want one. I paid the bill. Over 44 dollars and for what, lousy service and experience and food that took almost an hour to be delivered to my table. Incidentally , I told the waitress how long it was and she began to ARGUE with me at my table. I didn’t come there for an argument. Our evening would have been better spent at Hot Dog World. At least, they know what an Antespeto salad is. And it’s a damn good one. Not just a bunch of lettuce . And Hell No, I don’t recommend this place unless you want a legendary bad experience.

Took home a extra cheesy and pepperoni pizza last night. It was absolutely superb! It was demolished in no time flat. Service was with a smile, and somehow they knew my name when I walked in to pick up order. Owner (I presume) was also very friendly. Most assuredly will be going back.
