This is a workers paradise. You can come straight from the farm or work site and fit right in. The food is southern comfort food. Great fried chicken and fried pork chops. Black-eyed peas, corn, green beans, mac and cheese, and more. The decor is 1970’s truck stop. Nothing fancy, but great all-you-can-eat food for $15, and friendly workers. If you want a quiet atmosphere, go elsewhere. I have lived in Athens a few years, and this was my first, and not last, visit. I hear their fried catfish on Friday is great. Can’t wait to see!
