I called a week in advance and asked if we could bring 14 guys in on a friday for ordering steaks and or off the menu. The gal who answered said absolutely. Then called the day of to confirm and she said no problem see you soon. The first couple guys arrived and sat at the largest table. The never received service. A second bunch arrived, still no acknowledgment of our existence. By the time the last few guys came, they had walked by many times and never asked a pack of thirsty hunters what they wanted. Tge total time lapsed was at least a half hour, some of the guys went to the bar to get some drinks. Those were finished and we all left, being absolutely ignored. It was as if they were mad we were there. Worst experience ANYWHERE. EVER.

Small town combination breakfast and lunch restaurant, supper and night club. Ducked in on a quiet, rainy morning for a seat yourself breakfast. Nice server and good food (no English muffins though . Wish we could have come back for the prime rib night, but we were just passing through! Also has the ONLY public restroom in town which we very much appreciated!

Great food, served nice & hot & freshly made. I loved that they had grilled chicken breast with a salad on the menu since I am on a restricted diet. Super friendly staff. The decor was really rustic looking inside. Very clean. Well worth the stop just 2 miles off of 94.

Great small town bar , great food & good portions. Me and the girl split a patty melt and mushroom & swiss. Both were cooked perfectly & the fries were on point too. We missed a few condiments from our order but it was still good. Prices were really reasonable with everything being so expensive these days ! Will eat hear again for sure !

This is definitely a gem hidden away from the general population. Nothing on the menu creeps over $13 and they give you huge portions of food.
With most meals you get your choice of fries, regular, waffle, steak and I think they mentioned sweet potato fries for no up charge.
I ate the chicken fried steak and I don’t think I’ve had a better one from anywhere else. Be aware though that on the menu it lists it comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo, but this also came with onions. Still delicious though!

Average service and accommodations with amazing food! We went for a Sunday noon meal and nearly had the entire place to ourselves. Food came quickly and was exactly as ordered.
Jack jalapeño burger, sweet potato fries, steak with coconut shrimp and tater tops, chicken strips basket with tater tots. All were great! $44 all told with a couple of sodas.
Highchairs and boosters available for kids. I don’t believe they had a kids menu.
We’ll be back! Its a quick jaunt off the interstate and much better than the food options in Valley City.
