The salt and pepper shrimp were amazing. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with perfect seasoning and a fragrant peppery kick. Very fresh, well cooked, and full of flavor. One of the best shrimp dishes I’ve had. Definitely worth ordering again and highly recommended.

stopped by after a ski trip and it was a GREAT meal!!! Every dish well prepared, flavorful and good size. Don’t expect the fanciest spot inside but nice locally run joint!!

The green papaya salad was fresh, light, and perfectly balanced. Crisp papaya mixed with peanuts, tomatoes, and a bright lemon dressing made every bite refreshing. Flavorful without being heavy, very authentic and satisfying. A great starter that we truly enjoyed and would happily order again.

Do not be fooled by the negative reviews. This is a fantastic Chinese place, and as someone who grew up in Washington DC, I’ve been to my fair share. My favorite Chinese-American dish is Sesame Chicken (call me basic, it’s just so good) and the Sesame chicken here was unironically the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly tender chicken, perfect sauce, absolutely delicious. Plus they use sushi rice which makes it ten times better. The staff were also friendly and accommodating – I had a great experience here. After living in Colorado for nearly six years, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the state, and I haven’t yet found a better deal for food after a long day exploring the mountains.

There were so many good reviews, and was listed in the notebook of the AirBnB we were staying at that we decided to give it a try. First of all, the advertisement said the buffet was $9.99. It was not. $15 was the actual price. Still a good deal if the food was good. It was not. The $9.99 would have been way too much for the quality. We tried the buffet, so we were able to sample many different dishes. Tried the Hot and Sour, and the Egg Drop soups. Both were pretty much inedible. Between everyone in our party we tried just about everything on the buffet. The only things that were decent were the chicken skewers and the fried potatoes. Very disappointing. The staff were rude as well. Just a bad experience.

Diamond in the rough lunch buffet. The quality and assortment of the dishes were amazing. It didn’t know the price of the buffet and when I got my bill I was pleasantly surprised. The crispy head on jalapeño shrimp were some of the best I ever had.

Well, meal number two in Colorado. This place was almost as bad a Mi Casa. Almost.
It was a “buffet” I guess you could call it. There were very few options actually. First the hot and sour soup was lukewarm and very bland and tasteless. I ate about a quarter of mine. Wife would not even try it and soup is her favorite.
The rest of the Buffett was mediocre at best. We both got several items and neither of us ate all of anything we plated. The food was not very hot nor good. It wasn’t bad tasting, just again very bland and unappealing.
I would never eat there again nor would I ever recommend the place. The place just did not look very clean and kept.
The water with lemon was the best thing about JJ Chinese Food. I would highly recommend NOT eating there. Another disappointing meal by the chefs of Colorado.

Great food on a cold rainy night. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Food came quickly and hot!! They cleared away the dirty plates quickly and efficiently. We will eat here again the next time we travel through the area.

Really not good unfortunately. The buffet all had that fishy “wet dog” taste. Definitely not worth $15 per person. Super rude wait staff as well. I could have dealt with the rude staff if the food was good but it was really really bad. I’d skip if looking for good Chinese food.
