Ive eaten there several times. Owner is a curmudgeon. I didn’t take it personally, the food was decent. Today my coworker fell when walking towards the back. Owner didn’t come and make sure if she was alright. Instead he criticized the way she fell, complaining because she could have broken his table because she reached for it on the way down. Unbelievable. The food Today was absolutely tasteless. Small business. Sad, I felt like we were bothering him. Last time I go in there.

I don’t really know what to say. I asked for some al pastor tacos, which he verified he had. I verified twice, still got Barbacoa. They were good but when you have a sign that says no refunds on any food make sure it’s at least right and you “should” be able to separate a beef from a pork order.

Great little cafe with some really good food. As some other reviewers said you probably won’t get over the top customer service from the older gentleman working the counter but it’s just an old school place. Order, pay and be on your way. The food is amazing, fresh and homemade. I think for the size of the tacos and inexpensive price, this place really stands out. If you’re in the area looking for some good food definitely try it out.
For covid measures they do require mask upon entry (signs at door) and they had hand sanitizer setup right by the front door.

This place has amazing food!!! I got the potatoe and bacon tacos(the best version of this I’ve ever had) my gf got barbacoa tacos. The location is easy to get to and very clean. I love the vibe inside the cafe it’s very no nonsense but interesting. Definitely give this spot a try if your in the area. The food prices are very reasonable the food is next level. Reminds me of visiting my grandparents when I was a child.

My Cuz and I had the bean and cheese chalopas and chicken chalopas with rice and beans. It was amazing and on home made chalopas. The salsa Verde had the right amount of heat for me. The place was clean and I felt comfortable. Thanks J n I for an awesome lunch. I’ll see you again soon.

We tried to come to j and I despite the reviews . Well they proved the reviews right . The owner or whoever he is is very very rude . He rushes you when ordering and my mom asked for trips extra crispy and they were beyond soft she said excuse me Sit they are not crispy he kept telling my mom no they are I said are u serious he said yeah I am . He said I can take them back but they are crispy I told my mom just eat it mom and never again will we come back he just turned and walked away . Never came for one refill of tea . Sucks cause it seemed like somewhere I wanted to make a fav but walking in here getting treated the way we did never will I return save ur money go somewhere with great customer service .
