Great vibes and friendly service. The food was alright. It was chilly inside (autumn). Awesome whiskey selection and like other people have said – excellent Guinness pour!

This is a gratitude review. We are truly thankful we have J. Gough’s in our neighborhood. Yes, they have an amazing whiskey selection, but have you heard about their food? It’s fantastic! The chef is so cool, and he remembers what we usually order even if it’s been a few months in between visits. We love the quesadillas, and our boys love the pretzels and the flatbread pizzas. And the prices are very reasonable. Everyone who works there is always friendly and welcoming. If you’re living in the Greenfield area, I highly recommend J. Gough’s!

One of the best bourbon selections in the city. Cozy neighborhood pub vibe and awesome bartenders and staff. Highly highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing place with real folks!

It’s become our “regular haunt”

A Greenfield Gem with the Best Bourbon & Guinness in Pittsburgh!

I can’t believe I’ve been working just down the street in Squirrel Hill and wasn’t aware of this bourbon & Guinness Godsend otherwise known as J. Gough’s for the past eight years! IMO this pub is hands down the best bourbon spot in Pittsburgh, with an unreal selection that any whiskey lover will appreciate. And if you’re a Guinness fan, you won’t find a better pour—perfectly done every time. Throw in some top-notch bar bites and affordable pricing, and you’ve got yourself a go-to hangout. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! #JGoughs #BourbonLovers #PerfectGuinness #PittsburghEats

Decided to go out to eat with my siblings, and this place peeked my interest. The food was outstanding and the service was great! I love the tone of the restaurant, I will be back when I’m of age to drink! My brother’s fiance had a drink and she loved it! Thanks for the great experience!

Bar and grill that wins in both categories. No sacrifice on alcohol selection, incredibly filling and heavily protioned comfort food, and a delightful quaint atmosphere. The bar you bring your out of towner friends to, and everyone leaves happy.

A great cozy, classic tavern vibe with a fantastic selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch, everything! I really love their flatbread pizza, and their smoked wings look amazing and are actual, full wing size.
Service was excellent and friendly from start to finish!

Love this place, one of my favorite Irish pubs in Pittsburgh. Great atmosphere and whiskey and bourbon selection. However, for me the food came up short, hence the 4 stars.

What a cool place! TONS of whiskeys to try and the food was really tasty. We had the mushroom and basil Flatbread and the Mac and cheese. Super fast service in a laid back, comfortable environment. Great place to relax after exploring the area.

The whisky selection here is beyond comparison in terms of Pennsylvania bars. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly and helped me pick out a few whisky’s to sample, even suggested whether they were better neat or on rocks. If your a whisky/scotch/bourbon fan you have to do yourself the favor of coming here at least once. There are even some rare bottles that you absolutely won’t find in other places.
