First time trying this steakhouse (I believe it’s a chain) so I expected the quality to be pretty decent. Got the bisque, sour cream and onion drink, steak with bleu cheese butter on the side, and the creme brulee. Food came out fairly quickly and service was great.
Bisque was rich and deeply flavourful, this one really stood out. The soup had a beautiful depth, with pieces of crab meat. It finishes with a gentle kick at the end.
Sour Cream and Onion had a lovely aroma right from the first bite — the dill really comes through.
Mashed potato was fluffy and smooth.
Steak had a beautiful smoky flavour cooked into it, the blue cheese butter on the side adds a bit of creamy, tangy richness when you want it.
Creme Brulée was a satisfying finish to the meal. Smooth, creamy custard beneath that signature crisp caramelized top.
Satisfied with the place and would definitely come back again.

Food is fine but nothing special. But definitely over priced.
Definitely the most disappointing, smallest Oysters on the half shell I have ever had.
4 Oysters for $14. They were smaller than my thumb. Order 14oz Ribeye steak medium rare. Slightly under cooked. More on rare side. That’s fine at least it wasn’t over cooked. I took half home so when I reheat it. It will be perfect. Lol.
Best Smokey Old Fashioned cocktail I’ve had. That was good.

It was our first time here. We were craving a quality steak and lobster combo, read reviews and chose J. Gilbert’s. We made a reservation, arrived a little early, waited maybe 5 minutes while they prepared the table. Joey was our server. He was kind and attentive the entire meal. Every single thing we ordered was excellent. Although the Caesar salad was lacking something flavor wise, maybe some lemon. Regardless, all that was ordered (from the crab cake appetizer, the cocktails and through to dessert) was eaten and enjoyed. We had a great time. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, from the hostess, servers and the bussers. We also had such a great time we forgot to use our $20 off coupon that was emailed the day prior haha. It may not be an every week type of meal, because it was pricey, but we would definitely come back and indulge again. Prepare to spend your money, but as someone who also works in the industry, it was justified. Awesome meal and experience. Thank you!

First of all I had called in and made reservations for us to come in for two and when we got there for some reason, we still had to wait five or 10 minutes and I didn’t understand that because if that’s the purpose of making reservations, after we were both seated we ordered 18 ounce steak, which was pretty expensive, I Specified to the waiter. We wanted Well, Well done, but our steaks came back and they were still very pink pretty much in the inside so we had to send them back once they came back. Mine was cooked pretty much OK but my husband‘s steak was still pretty much raw side. I was truly disappointed. I also ordered broccoli broccolini and it was just way too hard and unseasoned, We ordered onion rings for appetizer. They were OK but they really didn’t have any seasoning on them and the sauces weren’t that great the three choices that we had. I was truly disappointed. We were just there in April for our 35th anniversary and the food was AWESOME. I don’t know if it was maybe the chef back there tonight or what but from coming in the door just didn’t turn out to be a pleasant experience evening. We will probably never Return.

Me and my coworker were looking for a semi-fancy restaurant with good food and good vibes. I saw the menu and thought it was perfect since it was right outside the mall, which we happened to be at, very convenient . we tried the watermelon mocktail, which was very refreshing. I got the Dean’s Shrimp which was amazing and even better with some lemon. Also got a sirloin and it was delicious and tender. We also got the roasted bacon, which is Nueske’s bacon, a MUST TRY! dishes. The star of the show was 10000% the truffle oil mushrooms! The best mushroom and side dish I think I have ever had (of course if you like mushrooms) The prices are those of a chain restaurant with a much nicer quality. I spent under $200 for the both of us, two drinks, an appetizer, and a 25%+ tip. Our server was very kind, wish there was a little more conversation, but I totally get not wanting to chat it up with two younger girls. All of the staff were kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect: dim lights, not too loud but not too quiet where everyone is going to hear your conversation, great seating, nice bar vibes, even walls in between the bar and main dining area.

This is such a wonderful celebration restaurant. I know it’s a chain but their food is SO GOOD. We went there last night for our 25th wedding anniversary and left so happy and full. There aren’t many places who can nail a well-done steak for my husband (yes I know) but this is one place that does. I had a perfect ribeye and some of the best asparagus I’ve ever had, not to mention the desserts. Very happy with our server and the atmosphere too!

Service was excellent; my husband had rigatoni with blackened chicken; I had 6oz filet ! Food was excellent; the only problem was the wine! If you’re into wine, pay attention: the menu clearly offers Italian Ruffino Chianti Classico 2018 for 10$/glass or 39$ per bottle which we ordered; waiter brought to the table a Ruffino Chianti (not Classico) and year was 2024! I questioned the wine and said there was no chianti Classico on the menu ! See pictures

A very good restaurant for special occasion. Food and wine are pricey but you get what you pay for.
I had the 16oz prime rib and it was perfection.
Waiter was attentive…overly attentive and why I gave 4 stars. He also didn’t ask if I wanted to keep my plate and my fork after I was done, and I was going to eat some of my wife’s food but he took away my plate too fast.
He also forgot one of our shared sides, and had to rush the order.
The crème brûlée was fabulous, and so was the Coconut Cake, which was on the house, for my birthday.
And the Caesar salad was the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. No jokes.
