We stopped in for lunch. Started with a dozen raw Mystic oysters, which were delicious, and had 3 different sauces. Next, the grilled Ruben and Veggie Wrap. Both came with fries and slaw. Very clean, and the owner was super friendly. A lovely vase of fresh flowers on the tables was a nice addition. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth it.

I’ve been here numerous times for lunch, and every time I’ve ordered something different. All of it has been fantastic. I’ve had the Salmon Tacos, the Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Mac and Cheese, and various appetizers. I’ve loved it all. The Lobster Grilled Cheese is one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Pricing is on the higher end, but for the quality of the meal, I’ll pay it. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking to try it out. Great food, and great service.

Great food and service! Kids menu pasta, NY strip, and shrimp scampi did not disappoint! Had to fight the whole family off my steak because it was that awesome. Not really because none of them are huge fans of red meat. However if they wanted some….alliances would have been broken, it would have been an awkward journey home, and I would have still had most of that steak. Most, only because the little one fights dirty when she wants something. Will definitely be back. Would have posted a picture of desert but gremlins ate before I could get my camera out.

Me and my boyfriend got takeout tonight. He got clams casino and lobster bisque. I tried the alfredo. We were both extremely pleased. Chose this restaurant because of it being highly recommended by a family friend. It is off the beaten path, but well worth it. Great customer service. Excellent food. I did not take any pictures, so the picture I will include is a picture of friend’s cat inside of the takeout bag… lol

A hidden gem! Tucked away, next to the railroad tracks, where you will see trains passing by! The food was fresh, and delicious! Prices were reasonable. The fish and chips were the best I ever had!

My husband and I had the good fortune to have dinner at J & G Railside Restaurant last night. We had the Octopus alla Mero and the Polenta Bowl. Both were generous in portion and delicious. The waiter was very efficient. Next time we are in the area we will definitely return!

Went for breakfast, coffee was fresh and hot and on the strong side, if you like dark roast it’s for you. The pancakes were a 8 out of 10. Sausage was a 10. French toast a 10. It came with fresh fruit on top. Service was efficient and solid. Tables were spotless and overall the place was very clean. So, went for dinner, what a excellent meal! Our server Linda was very professional and helped with some menu choices. The seared cod loin was cooked perfectly and paired with mashed potatoes and spinach. 10+! Shrimp Scampi was a 10 also. Presented beautifully on plate. Salads were very good and the dressing was excellent. Cant say enough about this gem of a Restaurant

Lovely off the beaten path, cozy restaurant near Westerly with plenty of parking. Friendly service, good menu. We had delicious New England clam chowder and seafood platters. Excellent meal and reasonable prices! Will be back!
