For reference I ordered the Candied Pork Belly Burger and substituted the pickled onions for their avocado blend. It was probably the juiciest burger I’ve ever had. The pork belly was tender and cooked to perfection you could barely even notice it was there. They gave me a good chunk of lettuce which added a crunchy freshness to balance out the juices and flavors. The fries are cooked in beef tallow which gave them this crunch I’ve never had with some fries super delicious! I added their fry sauce with some habanero Tabasco if you love some spice with your fries it’s the way to go! If you’re bulking I definitely would order this burger with some of their avocado blend it’s a protein on protein dream.
Atmosphere is super cozy and cute definitely family friendly. Music isn’t too loud and there’s just about every song for every kind of person.
If you have messy little ones every table is covered with a type of parchment paper deal. There’s also crayons at every table, they have a wall dedicated to the little ones drawings if you have any aspiring artists in the home.
My waitress Amber was super attentive and friendly. She on her game and I have no complaints. She definitely set the mood and made me comfortable and happy with my experience eating at J Dubs.
Also breakfast is served all day so if you’re feeling some chicken and waffles at 8pm I’d definitely come check it out and bring the kiddos with you for some bonding time.
All in all great food and experience!

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night around 7:30. We received prompt, super friendly greeting and were seated immediately. The server suggested the deviled eggs with bacon jam – amazing! I had the Ruben with a side salad and my friend had chicken strips. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. I’d come here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

My wife and I were walking by. Decided to stop in for a cocktail. Dude. This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly. The GM is super nice and awesome I will be coming back 1000% ordered the deviled eggs. So good. It’s no wonder it’s their most popular dish.

Got the Deviled Eggs appetizer special was a spam, seaweed, teriyaki version I thought was pretty good. Also got just there normal Deviled Eggs with were average. I got the Lobster roll and fries. It was average. Nothing to unique at all. Fries average. She got the No Carb Burger. She was more impressed with the spicy 1000 island than the meal. Our 3rd had the teaser salad. Was very generic and over dressed making it super saucy. Overall a average meal for the price.

We felt welcomed in from the start and the food didn’t disappoint. The fish and burgers were excellent, the fries were practically perfect. We also loved how they hung customer artwork on the wall of fame. Highly recommend and if we’re back in Bend we’ll stop in.

Overall this was a great restuarant. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Be prepared for large portions. I could almost not finish my breakfast. The menu is available all day, breakfast or dinner. If your looking for a family friendly spot then I recommend this place. Also you have to try their rotating special of deviled eggs.

Great spot for breakfast. We had the Mr. October and the special/seasonal caramel apple Dutch baby. Both were delicious. Friendly and attentive service, too.

I found the best chicken fried steak! Perfectly tender, amazing breading and the sausage gravy was magnificent! Slight Cajun with paprika and maybe some cayenne. Everything was absolutely perfect. This is my new favorite place! The frickles (fried pickles) we’re great too and there were so many that I had to stop eating so I’d have room for the giant steak! Thank you for a great meal!

You might not know J Dub restaurant and bar, a downtown Bend establishment, but trust me, you’re not missing out. I’d advise against dining there, unless you enjoy warm ice water and food that tastes like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Some dishes were hot, while others were cold – I’m pretty sure the chef was just winging it. The service? Subpar, at best. When I finally tracked down someone to ask for the check, I overheard a conversation in the kitchen that made my ears perk up. Two staff members, who just so happened to be the manager and the cook, were trash-talking local customers – nice. They clammed up when they saw me, but the damage was done. Then for the cherry on top they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for contact less payment options like tap-to-pay, chip reader, apple pay, ect. – it’s like they’re living in the Dark Ages. The food? I wont say was Terrible, but it… well yeah, its was not good. I could go on, but I’ll spare you.
Zero stars, hands down. Have a great day, locals and non-locals alike!
