After several years of operating from a mobile wagon, Amber Arneson and Jeremy Weed have established J Doggs at a permanent location on 136 South Main Street in Shawano. The new indoor setting allows customers to enjoy their fresh, award-winning chili and a variety of burgers and hot dogs year-round. The remodeled space, formerly Rades Bar & Bowling, retains some of its original features while adding new amenities like golf simulators and a replica of their original food wagon. The family-friendly eatery, designed with Amber’s vision and Jeremy’s carpentry skills, offers a welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and seasonal outdoor seating.

J Doggs served us some really tasty dogs. The smashed burgers were great, too. The place has two golf simulators and a putting green which were in high demand. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall, cool place inside, my dawg.

Great place. Visiting from Arizona. Was at their truck a few years ago and heard they had a brick and mortor place now, so I had to check it out. It did not disappoint! Great food at great prices. Excellent Chicago dog! Jeremy came over personally to check on us and make sure all was well. He spent some time explaining the golf system and answering our questions. Had a great time and will be back.

They’ve been amazing since the food truck days. Golf simulators (even has disc golf, pitching, bowling and some other games loaded into it) The garlic Parmesan pizza fry things are amazing along with every dog and burger in the menu. Make sure to try some chili and wash it all down with a Sun Drop or Twigs.

Drove 45 min to check out this place after seeing a review on social media. WOW!! Outstanding! We ordered a little of everything and nothing disappointed! If you’re lucky, you get to hear the story! Mad respect for the authenticity and fierce entrepreneurial spirit. Oh, and the homemade lemonade was amazing too!! Consider us new regulars.

The food was delicious!!! The serving size for the affordable prices does not disappoint. My son loved his burger and those cheese curds were FIRE My mushroom swiss burger was the absolute best I’ve had. I think it’s safe to say we have a new favorite restaurant!! Loved chatting with staff/owner and jamming to 80s music. Oh the lemonade is delicious ❤️ can’t wait to stop in for the pizza next time

I can’t say enough great things about this place! The burgers and fries are out of this world! Met the owner on my first visit who must be the most friendly and outgoing restaurant manager of all time, we talked for Probaly 20 minutes about the business and his family life(small talk stuff),

Had an awesome time with my family. Golf Simulators are available year-round, including disc golf, bowling and more. The owner was working when we were there and was very hospitable. Very fun atmosphere and a great place to bring your friends and family.. kids will have a blast. The food is great!! The prices are something you can definitely afford and the serving sizes are well worth the prices. I highly recommend trying J Doggs for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!!

J Doggs for the WIN! I grew up outside Chicago, but have lived in MN the past 25 years. J Doggs brought me right back HOME! The Vienna Beef Hot Dog was FANTASTIC! My wife ordered the chili and LOVED it. She said, “There are so many good tastes in this chili. It is really good!” The atmosphere is awesome inside. We are in Shawano for a wedding, but if we lived here I would most definitely be a regular at J Doggs! Employees were all kind. Food was priced well. And it was DELICIOUS!!! Would loved to have hit the golf simulator as well. What a setup!
