The manager was very quick to respond and reach out to my husband to resolve the issue. We appreciate the professionalism and quickness. We love JDawgs and look forward to the next experience and see this as a way for the company to continue to get better and grow. Thank you Heidi for addressing this as quickly as possible.
My Husband and his friend stopped at this location to get some food after working an 18 hour day just to get the worst service ever! The girls behind the register were dismissive and only offered them 2 hot dogs.
We walked in at 9:41 and they only had two dogs left. They were already cooked and would not cook anymore. Because they were “closing.” We sat down to eat by 9:45 and we were told we had five minutes to eat and get out because they were going to mop the floor. And then witnessed him pull the drawer out of the till at 9:50. Advertised to close at 10 PM.
They didn’t order anything outrageous. Super rude and very unprofessional. Especially when this location is located in Utah with limited options once 9 PM hits.
First of all, this hot dog cannot be compared to Sam’s Club or Costco hot dogs. Some people may say it’s just an expensive warehouse dog but it is grilled and not steamed and comes on a much better bun. The warehouse store hot dogs are loss leaders which means the company loses money on every hot dog they sell. It is not reasonable to expect J-Dawgs to have the same price point as a warehouse store.
That being said, this hot dog was delicious. The bun tastes homemade and the hot dog was crosscut so that it has a crispy outer shell. The J-Dawg special sauce was not to my liking but it seems to be pretty popular. I enjoyed my dog with mustard, banana peppers and onions. The french fries are a coated style and were also delicious. I was able to have a hot dog and a large order of fries for 10 bucks. I would recommend you try this place at least once.
