J Bird overall is good. However the restaurant is far too inconsistent with quality while charging high prices for what you get. I’ve been going here since it used to be known as Yard Bird and the quality in food and service has definitely gone downhill. The service at J Bird is the worst I’ve ever experienced and it is like this consistently. The brisket, ribs, chili and onion rings are good as are the bacon dog pit beans. Sauce selection is also good. Overall, the food is good but it tends to be a gamble on the quality each day.

I traveled as a contract pilot for many years, and enjoyed BBQ at many locations. J Bird will not be a repeat eating restaurant. Ordered the meat sampler with onion rings and the beans. I’m a person that would like a restaursnt to provide food that’s appealing and good. Once the tray hit the table, I was dissapointed. The corn bread, sausage, and mimosa were good. However, the beans were dried out and crusted. The pulled pork was very dry. The brisket was also very dry. It does have a good selection of sauces.

Thoroughly excellent food and service! One of my favorite BBQ places. Prices are very reasonable as well! We like to get their family style meal where you get 5 different kinds of meats and 4 sides. The smoked chicken wings are awesome! The drinks here are great too, and they have outdoor seating.

I said GOT DAMN!! If you are wanting THE BEST bbq in the nation, then you need to hit this joint up!!! Not only is the food unbelievably good, the service is also much appreciated! Jeremy, the owner, will 100% make the experience amazing! Seriously, some of the best food and service I have ever experienced in this industry!! Delicious BBQ restaurant with a cool atmosphere and friendly staff. The brisket was flavorful and well portioned. My friend had the Memphis Hot Chicken which was awesome and the sides were outstanding too. Excellent draught beer selection also

Everything was amazing! We got the family style meal for 2. In order, my favorites were the fried chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, brisket, Brussels sprouts, and the ribs. The salad was very good, too! For about $26 per person the amount of food we recieved was crazy. I definitely over-ate

I want to preface by saying, food was phenomenal. I go out to eat for food, not to have people dote on me. So, my critique of their service is only because some people care about that.
It felt like from the time we got there, no one was sure who’s table we were and no one seemed to want us. Someone sat us and said someone else will be there for our drink order. The person who took our order said she was helping the person who was ACTAULLY waiting on us would be right over. Then a completely different person dropped off our drinks and said someone else would take our food order. Food got dropped off and we never saw anyone again. Drinks sat empty through dinner.
Now that that’s out of the way, everything on the menu looked amazing and when out three dishes arrived, they were on point. My burger was great, the brisket was soft and flavorful. Even the kids mac n cheese was above and beyond.
The signature cocktails were tasty and looked great.
Sat on the patio which was spacious and quiet enough for an easy conversation
Calling the service a fluke! I’ll be back, even if it isn’t great!

We had the 3 meat sampler with brisket pulled pork and baby back ribs. The pulled pork was the only thing I didn’t think was absolutely amazing. Too dry but he ribs and brisket were best I’ve had. The Mac and cheese also amazing. The Nashville chicken sandwich was a perfect spice and the gumbo was full of flavor 10/10 . Service was great. Awesome n/a beer selection. Sangria was best my gf has ever had.

We came here late night when I was craving nachos. They were SO good! We also got some fries and Mac and cheese. The fries have a really great seasoning on them and the Mac and cheese was pretty solid. I also got a side salad and the dressing was surprisingly my favorite part. All of their sauces are d super delicious, not sure if they’re for sale but I’d love to buy them. Will definitely be back soon!
