This place has the BEST banana crepes ever! The service was excellent! I can’t believe I have lived in El Cajon my entire adult life and haven’t eaten here until now. I highly recommend this place. Food is good, prices are reasonable and the service was excellent.

A splendid place to go to for a delicious breakfast or lunch. It’s a 50’s style diner. DASHA is our favorite waitress but they’re all wonderful. The food is superb. They offer double delicious BBQ and smoked items. They have a patio if you prefer. However, the atmosphere inside is awesome. Prices are reasonable.

Best breakfast in El Cajon. The pancakes are my favorite here. Great buttermilk flavor. The breakfast menu is great. The omelets are good too. I always enjoy the hashbrowns, pancakes and omelets. Good service.

This is a diner style place with diner decor like license plates, movie and TV pictures, and road/car signs & pictures. We went for breakfast but they also have smokehouse menu for later. Good variety of menu items, large portions and reasonable prices. Food was very good and used fresh items. The zucchini muffin my son in law received was even warmed up! The staff is mostly young men who are courteous and attentative, they got a big tip. Definitely a return place on future visits.

Dined in, but sat outside for breakfast. Service was ok. Food took quite a while to get to the table. We were 4 adults. Serving sizes were good but prices like everywhere have increased! Will return, but just can’t afford to eat out as often.

My mom loves this place, she only ever orders pancakes and now I know why. My mom, niece, daughter and I went here for brunch. My daughter and I arrived first, we sat ourselves at a booth. They offered us drinks while we wait. The waitress was nice enough, but not very attentive. When my mom and niece arrived, the waitress came and asked if we were ready. They just sat down, hadn’t even looked at the menu. My mom, niece and daughter ordered the short stack of pancakes with sausage or bacon. I ordered an omelet with little pancakes on the side instead of bread. They were happy, my omelet wasn’t very flavorful, it tasted kinda watery. But the pancakes are great a bit thin but buttery, melt i. Yoir mouth yummy. If I return here I will only be getting the pancakes. And I won’t recommend unless your looking for great pancacks.

Had the yummiest breakfast. Everything was on point. Biscuits were fluffy and hot. Gravy was Soo good. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. Our waitress was so good, I thought she was the manager! She’s wasn’t though. Thank you for a wonderful eating experience.
