One of the one of my absolute favorite places to eat in all of San Antonio. If you’re like me, and you love sushi more than any other kind of food, this is the place to go.
The all you can eat prices are fair, with lunch at around $25 to $30 after tip, and dinner ranging from $35 to $45.
The quality of the food is impeccable, I’ve had better fish selections at Izumi than at some of the highest rated sushi restaurants in all of San Antonio, including sushihana and sushi zushi.
The staff is some of the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever experienced, I’d give them a 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

We’ve had a great experience every time we visit Izumi Sushi Hibachi All You Can Eat. I really like the ordering system here — instead of standing in line or trying to flag down a server for each round, you simply mark your choices directly on the menu sheet, and the staff brings everything fresh to your table. It’s a simple, efficient way to enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal without feeling rushed.
The presentation is always appealing, and the food tastes fresh since everything is made to order rather than sitting out buffet-style. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and variety you get, especially if you visit during lunch when the rate is a bit lower.
If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to better label the sushi when multiple varieties are ordered. Sometimes it’s hard to tell which roll is which, and a small flag, toothpick marker, or even a drizzle pattern could help guests identify their choices more easily.
Overall, this is one of our go-to spots for sushi and hibachi, offering fresh food, a wide variety, and a pleasant dining experience every time.

Our family visited this location around 2:30pm and it was fairly quiet. Our waiter was super attentive and even made friends with my 4 year old which was very impressive!

A buffet where you get sit down service whaaat! Yes, they bring the food to you, all the food you want, but don’t be wasteful you can get charged. They have a big variety of food, sushi, teriyaki, soups and fried veggies and such, everything is delicious! I especially love love the snow crab salad! It’s refreshing and flavorful. It’s a little pricey $30+ for dinner but if you have a big appetite it’s worth it. They give you a paper menu. You mark what you want on it and they bring it to your table. The wait staff is nice and attentive. I recommend this place %. It’s a must try!

Nowadays I’m much into Sushi. The big buffet is all I can find with a reasonable price is Izumi Sushi Hibachi All You Can Eat. The staff is friendly. The prices vary for lunch and dinner so as the menu too. Fried rice is damn tasty. Shrimp is my favorite. Weekdays and weekends price vary. Weekdays one can have a pleasant time as it is crowded always. 4.5 star rating. It opens at 11am. Perfect time for lunch.

Me and my husband have tried twice now and neither experience was a good one! We’ve been served half cooked shrimp when I ordered hibachi and warm sashimi when it’s meant to be cold which is TERRIBLE! And the poor staff always seems so overwhelmed I’m sure they try their best with what they’ve got but it’s still so horrible takes forever to get orders in and you better hope they get it right because in my experience you’ll be missing/get wrong items at least 2 times per visit.

I really enjoyed my time here! I frequently come here for lunch since the value you get at this place is pretty good! All you can eat sushi at just under $20 for lunch is pretty hard to beat. You get a paper form to make your order and it’s a pretty system! There was a big variety and The appetizers were very delicious too! I really enjoyed the salmon nigiri and other selections they had! They also offer spicy mayo and eel sauce if you ask for it. If you come by during dinner, they even offer takoyaki!
