Great dining entertainment. It was my mother’s birthday. The restaurant went above and beyond to make her day extra special. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. We were a group of seven. Most of the group had the mahi-mahi and loved it. Others had steak, chicken, or shrimp which were very tasty. It was our first visit. We will be back again!

Very bad Service. I am regular customer and been here for more than year. I always ordered glass Decoy, and always get charge for 12$ per glass, than this time they charged me 22$ per glass and I dont know why. I asked waitress if I could speak to the manager, but the manager doesn’t wanna come up. I really disappointed.

This was so much fun! We dined in for dinner on July 24, seated at a hibachi top. Service was fabulous – thank you, Ken! The teppanyaki chef entertainment was very entertaining – lots of jokes and tricks, a real good time. Cocktails and food were fantastic – the cocktails were well-balanced and refreshing, food portions were large, flavor and cook were perfect. It was our first visit, but this restaurant will likely become a regular place for us. Highly recommend.

Had my mom’s birthday dinner on 10/29/25. They graciously accommodated our large party reservation and also let us start late due to a straggling family member. Savannah!! She was amazing. She was so fun and on top of it all. She had the best attitude and was so helpful with menu questions and modifications.(My brother and wife are vegan and were fully able to enjoy the hibachi experience.) The chef, (i didn’t catch his name, im sorry) was the best. So entertaining and was able to include Mom in on the fun despite language barriers. Food was awesome. Sushi was fresh. Our party left buzzing with feel good vibes. 2 days later and we’re still talking about how much of a good time we had. Definitely check this place out!

My visit to Izumi was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. From the moment me and my husband sat down, the service was slow and unorganized. We waited a long time before anyone even acknowledged us. No one asked if we needed drinks, refills, napkins, or anything. We sat there watching other tables get attention while we were ignored.
My appetizer came out late, and then they took forever to start the hibachi grill. We were sitting there wondering what was going on because no one checked on us. The way the staff interacted with us felt different compared to how they treated other customers, and that made me uncomfortable. I left feeling like we were not treated with the same respect as others.
When the owner finally came over, instead of taking the situation seriously, he laughed and said, “Oh, the waitress forgot your food?” That felt rude and unprofessional. After all the delays, the lack of attention, and the way we were spoken to, we were not offered any discount, apology, or effort to make things right.
The food made me feel sick afterward, which was the final issue on top of everything else. This whole visit was stressful, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I will never return. Based on my experience, I suggest avoiding this place because I don’t want anyone else to deal with what we went through. THIS PLACE WONT BE OPEN ANY MUCH LONG!!!

Celebrated a birthday here, impromptu! 1st visit! The entire staff was amazing! Very attentive, entertaining and super fun! The food was so good! Will make dinner plans for here every time we come to town!

All sushi fresh with thick slices of fish, with not too much rice.
Liked the baked mussels and yellowtail sushi best.
I was there by myself and they allowed me to get half rolls so I could try a lot of their specialties.
The menu is a little bit unclear about this, but my server explained one can get half of any roll. This is 4 pieces, instead of 8.
Generous and complete menu with some authentic Japanese items you don’t see at other AYCE places.
They are not Japanese, so don’t expect to practice speaking Nihongo with them.

It’s the 5th time we dine there. Unlike previous visits, it wasn’t good this time, all the employees have changed, new servers are very in-experience. They don’t know the drinks nor what they should do, 10 minutes after we ordered our food, the teppan chef came out to cook, but the waitress had not serve the soup and salad yet, it’s super quiet at the time, only one other party besides us. I don’t know what every server was doing, Food quality was still good, besides the new chef cooks a little too salty. And then the waitress never came back to the table to check on you. They just get together talking or whatsoever. Probably not going to be back again

The Hibachi experience was an amazingly wonderful. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection! The chef displayed spectacular skills while cooking along with a fun relaxing conversation. Even more fun with family or friends! The hot sake topped off the meal. Plus it’s open for lunch!!
