Delicious food with great portion sizes. My husband had enough for both of us with one order of rice and beans, maduros and steak. The food tasted fantastic! The only reason it’s a 4 instead of 5 star review is because the maduros were hard. I’m sure it will be different next time for sure. Also this place has a nice decor with friendly staff. Great place to get authentic Puerto Rican food!

I tried Izla for the first time in April. Nice little place, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Latin music playing, not too loud and not too crazy. The Ropa Vieja is to die for, along with the Spanish rice. I am a huge Puerto Rican, and Dominican food lover, and everywhere I have had the ropa Vieja tastes the same. I order take out sometimes and the food is always hot, fresh, and ready to go.

I would be ashamed to call this puerto rican food, I ordered rice and beans and steak and onions and boy the bean tasted and looked like they opened a can of beans and added salt, no tomato sauce no sofrito!!! seriously!! and the steak was soft but no taste what so ever thank god I asked for mojito and that gave the food a little taste…Puerto Rican food is NOT please don’t disgrace our food this way!! Was so happy to see this restaurant but boy will never return here. Ohh and was charged $30.95 for this!!

I not the type of person to do bad reviews but The food is horrible no flavor on anything I ask for a medium well skirt steak and it’s was over cooked and no seasoning the potato ball the meat was sour everything else tasted like it was preheated food the tostones were fresh. It’s no authentic puerto rican food sorry.

Excellent and very authentic. My Puerto Rican family and I felt the meal was very good. We’re from the Bronx and have frequented PR and tasted the local food. The bistec encebollado tasted like my grandmother’s according to my father.

I ordered rice and pigeon peas )arroz and guandoles) with beef stew (carne guisada) and got white rice with shredded beef. I usually go through Uber eats and I thought they were the problem but this time I picked up and it’s the restaurants problem.
