Food was terrible! I ordered a Stuffed Sweet Plantain and it was terrible! The ground meat was extremely dry and the plantain was mushy. The arror con gandules had a weird taste and the pastele was mid.. Thank god for ketchup because that’s what saved it…. Only thing edible

I recently ordered the fried cheese, which was priced at $6.99 before tax. To my surprise, I received only three very thin slices of cheese with a side of sauce. While the cheese itself was delicious, the portion size was shockingly small more like something you’d expect in a kids’ meal, not for the price of nearly $7.
The taste was great, but I can’t get over how overpriced and underwhelming the portion was. It’s hard to justify paying this much for something that feels more like a snack than a real appetizer or side dish.
I won’t be ordering this again unless the portion size improves or the price is adjusted. It’s just not worth it.

Delicious food with great portion sizes. My husband had enough for both of us with one order of rice and beans, maduros and steak. The food tasted fantastic! The only reason it’s a 4 instead of 5 star review is because the maduros were hard. I’m sure it will be different next time for sure. Also this place has a nice decor with friendly staff. Great place to get authentic Puerto Rican food!

Will not buy again. $21 for half a chicken and it’s not even half. Chicken is just reheated chicken not fresh. No flavor. Save your money get a chicken and make it yourself.

After an urgent care visit on Saturday, I took my daughter here to get her some chicken soup in hopes of making her feel better. What a mistake!! Not only did it take over 15 minutes for a small order of chicken soup, it was disgusting and over priced. The chicken had no flavor and was undercooked. I literally over paid for just broth and raw chicken. My daughter was so disappointed. I had to throw the whole thing out. As a true Puerto Rican, I will never buy from here again, and it makes me sad to think that this establishment is giving Puerto Rican food a bad rep. Please think twice about wasting your money on horrible food.

We ordered an avocado salad that was delivered with rotten brown avocado and some mushed on top . I would not have ever sent that out if I was an owner to my customer . Truly disgusting .

The food was delicious with excellent flavors. However, the food was lukewarm and served in styrofoam containers with plastic forks. This is not appropriate for a sit in meal. It’s very uncomfortable to eat out of a container with a lid that’s attached and in the way. Please invest in a dishwasher and use appropriate dishware. The cashiers need to be a bit friendlier as well. I want you to succeed because the food is really good.

I went here today for a quick little lunch of something tasty. I’ve been here a few times before and the food is always great. I got the pernil , rice and beans and sweet plantains with a beef empanada to share with a friend. Food was as always. Try the hot sauce and the mojito sauce. Very tasty stuff.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating; offering us to try different things and asking if we had questions about the menu.
Overall great place to eat!!
