If you are looking for good quality Salmon , sushi and tasty Jasmine Green Tea and more this Izakaya restaurant offers lovely variety of it !

We were looking for appetisers prior to our main meal elsewhere and decided to choose quick & Healthy option that wouldn’t make us feel heavy for our upcoming walk uptown Bristol.

That day we especially were going around Bristol and tried many different types of food including Asian cuisine, so far this Salmon sushi set was the Highlight of our afternoon.

Service was quiet slow and slightly judgmental- as waiters kept looking very interested why we ordering so little, I think this is should be something to be discussed and perhaps renewed the training for staff about certain etiquette things when it comes to customer’s- as its customers choice.

Other than that , Salmon was really oily and tasty ,most importantly lightweight filling.

Personally if I would want a quick pre lunch Sushi or so I would visit again.
Absolutely loved the tea.

We had a really lovely meal here the other day. I had never had Japanese BBQ before so I was a bit worried I was going to do something wrong, but the staff explained how to use the grill at the table really clearly. I really enjoyed all the flavours from the meat and we had a few extra sides like Chicken Karage which was really tasty! All the staff are very friendly and it was also my first time meeting a robot! Looking forward to trying some more of the menu on another visit!

Izakaya is a quaint Japanese restaurant, boasting a large menu filled with all your favourites, and some things you’ve always wanted to try.
The atmosphere is so cosy, the murals on the wall add just that extra bit to the atmosphere.
The food was perfect, my friend and I had the Pumpkin Katsu that was fried to perfection, being served a healthy portion was an added bonus.
The staff were very friendly – the whole dining experience was really relaxed and the food came out quickly.

I would highly recommend!
Thank you for the lovely experience

Great service, amazing food, couldn’t be happier. I had a veg salad bowl with Japanese mayo. I’d definitely recommend this place. Allergens are also clearly marked and there’s vegan options, including sushi.

Make sure you book your table. They’re moving to a larger space next door but until then it’s very busy

Dropped in for some sushi because I suddenly felt an urge for some raw fish. Came here due to its proximity to the Marriott, and also because of its good reviews. Pretty simplistic dining atmosphere, but food is good. I had the salmon assorted, which has 16 pcs of sushi, all featuring salmom. Quality is quite good. The salmon tastes fresh. Service is consistent with the decor and the type of establishment. Efficient without being pushy. They also feature other Japanese dishes like noodles, etc. As well as assorted of Japanese drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. For a convenient city centre location, and not having to hike up the hill (it’s at the bottom of College Green/Park Street), it’s very easy to get to and offers good food. Not expensive either. THe salmon assortment is 22 pounds.

So good I went two days in a row. Delicious soft shell crab and seafood soup with bonito flakes! Can’t wait to return. A friendly and lively Izakaya.

We booked here for Saturday night for 6 of us, being big fans of Japanese food. The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Service was good and efficient. Only suggestion I would have is if they could also do vegetable tempura that would be great. We all thoroughly enjoyed it though, so thank you very much.

Nice food if you don’t mind spending £50 per person. Forgot to bring out our rice twice.

I never really leave reviews but we went to Yakiniku on opening night and it’s already one of my favourite restaurants. Genuinely wanted to leave this review to show appreciation for how perfect the experience was for us. The staff are really lovely and attentive also the robot, Dorami, is cool too. The food came out quickly and was exactly what we wanted in taste and portion size. Coming back very soon 🙂
