We came here around 5:15 pm before an 8:00 pm show for a light meal. We weren’t very hungry. They told us sukiyaki wasn’t available because they were out of kelp, which was a bit unexpected for a Japanese restaurant.
The food was not bad, and when we got the bill, there was an automatic 20% “Large Party” charge, even though we were only five people (two adults and three kids). If you don’t check the bill carefully, you might tip twice. Since the 20% was already added, I didn’t leave extra tip. I’m not sure if five people is considered a large party in Las Vegas.

Came in early (6pm Sunday) and it was a bit empty but as time went on it filled quickly.
Had an excellent hostess and waitress (Mao). She greeted and seated me quickly. Has a great personality, very personable not just professional but like we were close friends vibe. She made the pork and peach recommendation (tasty and flavorful), I ordered a hand roll (though be aware it’s the size of one piece of sushi) multiple skewers as well as a yuzu beer.
Overall pricey, but quality, would come again. Thanks again Mao!

We had the best experience, Mao is an amazing server, she was really friendly always smiling and explained very well the menu. I love to try all kind of food and she recommended the chicken hearts that was my fist time eating them and I have to say they where delicious. All the food was delicious the yakitori was really gourmet and unique. What a terrific meal and a pleasure to enjoy the owner SJ’s talents I gladly recommend this amazing restaurant.

A wonderful experience from start to finish! Visiting from out of town and so glad we found Izakaya Tora. The charred cabbage was perfectly smoky, the sirloin cap rich and tender, and the bacon-wrapped enoki mushrooms full of flavor. The hand rolls were fresh and delicious, and their late-night happy hour specials are unbeatable. Great sake selection, friendly staff, and fantastic service—can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Vegas!

Beautiful and intimate inside and the staff is warm and friendly and will explain everything on the menu for rookies like me. Their lamb is INCREDIBLE and their special of pork and peaches is also a must. They sent out a fried wrapped peaches dessert with ice cream matcha foam on top. INSANE. Second visit and will definitely go again.

I visited for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! Amazing sushi selection and everything was so fresh. The presentation was simple, but the flavors complex and went well together. My waitress was attentive and helpful with making suggestions. If I’m in Vegas again I will definitely stop in for another round of tasties.

Ram was our server and he was extremely helpful with local recommendations and sake pairings. We came very late into the night and it was one of the few places still open. Their pork skewer was smokey and bursting with flavor. We got a few rolls and omakase, the fish was very fresh.

Fantastic place. I only post a review when it’s a place that really stands out. Food was excellent. I did most of the skewers over the course of a long wind down meal on my own. All really well done with that real charcoal flavor. Sirloin wagyu was particularly good. More important was the warm friendly “real people” warmth of the staff and the mellow calm atmosphere. It’s only a little bit off the strip but I felt miles away. Can’t speak to the sushi or the other dishes but don’t think anything is going to be bad. Also looks like they have a great sake selection. Not my drink so. Really grateful I found this spot to recharge away from the strip.

Great spot for late night dining. Usually, the parking lot is crazy whenever I come to the area. I was here after 10 pm and the lot had a lot more spaces than I thought would be. Service was good. Service was good. David was nice and attentive.

Some pieces of the pork belly was hard however, the flavor was delicious Right amount of salt. The mushroom tempura was a No for me. I didn’t like that it was so soft. Not Crispy at all.
The spicy Tuna was nice and clean. I enjoyed every bite. Lastly, I enjoyed the chili crisp tofu. The Tofu was regular in texture. I enjoyed dipping it into the chili oil. Seemed like it had schezuan oil.
Overall, a great spot and I’ll definitely return for late night eats.
