First timers. Cute kinda dark inside with large TVs and fun music playing. Nice to hangout with friends or family and munch and drink. Their menu has tons of interesting choices but I wanted the cute little sticks. So I ordered a bunch of those from the soy chicken, bacon wrapped everythg to even just the garlic. ALL of it was delish. I’d def come back and get thru the rest of that menu!

We went on Saturday before happy hr ended. K-pop! Good Day soju $8.
Great service. Loved the comp popcorn. Food came fairly fast:
beef yaki udon– good balance of veggies, udon & beef (beef tasted old, tough, too).
grilled chicken gizzard on a mound of veggies–required really strong teeth & jaws.
yakitori variety & taste–decent
Maybe better with pork-bacon & seafood options.
First visit–meh date night dinner. Likely will be back with a group of drinking buddies (whom I’ve never gone out with). 😉

Japanese izakaya with a Korean flair!
This is a great place to have a few sojus with friends. I recommend their batterless fried chicken – tongddak- a real comfort food amongst Korean bar food.
Most items on its menu is fairly priced and food is delicious!

First and foremost, the calamari tempura is soooo amazing, how could they make it so crispy and tasty! The pineapple corn cheese is fantastic too! How could they think of this combination! I swear that you cannot ever find better dishes for this two anywhere else. The environment and services are great. The only drawback is that their chicken are not fresh which served popcorn chicken with cold inside.

Pretty standard suljip. Reminds me of the old saekdong in LA. good food and service. Can get busy but it’s roomy so it doesn’t feel too rowdy.

This izakaya has the casual look and feel of a pub you’d find in Tokyo: beer and sake and small dishes. If you want something heftier, they also have full dinner plates. My okonomiyaki was a bit on the sweet side because it was doused with a cloying sauce, but the presentation was nice. The yakitori was slightly charred and a bit bitter for my taste, but some people might like it like that. The sake selection had a good range of prices and the beers looked legit.
