An unforgettable experience.
The food is outstanding. The sashimi, especially the toro, is absolutely exquisite—on another level. The miso soup is excellent, and the yellowtail with jalapeño stands out for its beautiful presentation.
A very special highlight is that they offer fresh wasabi, which is a true delicacy. For wasabi lovers, this is a must, as very few restaurants offer it.
This was my second visit, and once again everything was delicious. Although they do serve alcohol, it is not their strongest point.
Highly recommended.
Food: 100/100
Alcohol: 60/100

The atmosphere and service gave me big hopes for this place… but the food was just very mid. tempura veggies were partially soggy, rice on nigiri was too dry and curry rice with katsu was the lowlight of the order. Curry sauce flavor is watered down and completely off, pork is dry
can’t recommend

4.6/5
izakaya serves impressively fresh sashimi, and the sushi is shaped with just the right balance and texture. The draft beer comes in frosted glasses, which is a great touch, and the fried dishes are crisp and delicious.
The only drawback is that the staff can be slow to respond and seem unfamiliar with the menu.
I’ll come back again, but for an izakaya not located in Japan, it’s already done quite well.

A favorite spot amongst my sister and I, we do happy hour here quite often, adore this place!
Drunken mussels- a go to of ours!
Black mussels in garlic sake over a crispy rice cake! Devine.
Sushi roll- Classic California and Tiger. ( extra ginger a must)
Lemon drops- Made everytime to perfect.
Ambiance- Quiet but lively. It’s very cozy, they do have a small outdoor section. Karaoke rooms are in the back. But a very nice place to go drink, eat and chat.
Customer service is always superb.
Highly recommend!

Pretty good restaurant, with good sushi and general bowl offerings. We did come for a birthday and they did not have any small complementary dessert which seems a bit odd (thought it was pretty common. We did ask the staff about it, and our server ended up buying us an ice cream herself! We were super ashamed, but thought it was a cute gesture.

Loveee this place, been here so many times, they serve the gyoza and calamari with this sauce that is so good. Great cucumber salad. Always have to get the salmon picante roll and a lychee martini. (Would not recommend the scallop nigiri though)

Aaaaaaaaah!—mazing! If you haven’t been here, go now! The product is fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere, inviting. The service tentative and friendly. So so good. Happy hour is a must! Will definitely be frequenting this place. Michelle, our server was knowledgeable and awesome!

I’ve been here many times and never had any issues, not sure if it was a bad day but the experience was honestly a 2/5 max. The host just stared at me while not helping me out making me look stupid. He did not come up until I was ready to leave completely. And on top of that the service was very bare minimum for them not to be busy. Would only recommend during a happy hour so it’s worth the money.

Im from the south side of Houston and love a good sushi place. I was in the area and asked for recommendations and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the mussels, shaggy dog, some kind of rib sushi, and a crunchy California roll. These were sole of the best mussels that i have had in a long time. The foods presentation was great. I am upset because im about 45 minutes away from here and would love to put this place in my rotation but it is too far. I see there is karaoke but I just went for lunch. Not in my opinion the greatest atmosphere but it was more so about the food for me.

The food was okay. It was bland and too oily. But, portions were big, and prices were very fair. Service was just adequate. Our waitress was not too friendly, but others there were friendlier. They were not accommodating about not adding chicken to omurice and said it was “impossible”. I couldn’t buy the fried rice and pay extra for the omelette. They were willing not to add bonito flakes to the agedashi tofu. I liked the makkoli
