Probably one of the best lunch bento box deals around (only $14!), it’s definitely great value for money.
While the taste and overall quality weren’t the best we’ve had, it was still decent for the price and filled us up. We really appreciate the affordable pricing, especially for a lunch special.

We were seated right away, but the service was not the best in my opinion. I feel like it took a while for our food to come out. I got a boba tea which was pretty average 7.5/10, and the chicken Gyoza was okay 6/10. My boyfriend and I shared the Godzilla Roll and Tiger Roll, both were very solid and the rolls were pretty big 8.5/10. Lastly we ended dinner with the green tea mochi which was so good especially with the chocolate sauce over top 10/10! I’d recommend if you’re looking for a good sushi spot.

We really liked the sushi and hibachi! Steak and chicken were really tender and they probbaly the largest sushi menu I’ve personally seen so there will be a roll you will like, I promise. We got the 12th man roll, pear blossom, and Wenatchee rolls, I would recommend all of them.

I really enjoyed both the sushi and the hibachi here . The steak and chicken were super tender and cooked just right, which made the whole meal even better . One thing that really stood out to me was the sushi menu — it’s probably the biggest selection I’ve personally seen, so I’m pretty sure anyone can find a roll they’ll love . We ordered the 12th Man roll, the Pear Blossom, and the Wenatchee roll, and honestly, I’d recommend all of them . Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the variety made the experience even more fun. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

3/13/2025: Popped in for lunch and ordered tempura udon, Alaska and New York maki rolls. Overall it’s okay. Udon broth is very bland and not much flavor. It certainly wasn’t a tsuyu broth which was disappointing. Tempura was nice and crisp though. Rolls were okay, rice was blah but it was edible.

The food is always great at Iwa, my only complaint is regarding an obvious mold issue in the building near the tables to the right when you enter the door. Whenever we are seated in this area we have to ask to move because the smell is too strong to enjoy our meals. It appears to be coming from behind the wall and smells strongly of mold and/or water damage. I hope the owners get this message and address this issue because it has been getting increasingly stronger. You can see the black mold near the floor of the wall and the smell is strongest at the two small tables between the window and the sushi bar.

Iwa has moved to the top of my list as my most favorite place to eat. My wife and I have been coming at least once a week now for the past few months. Their sushi rolls never disappoint! The kind waitresses now recognize us and greet us with a smile. Food comes fast. I have nothing but good things to say about the way they do business here! So thankful to have such a great restaurant in our town.
