First off the pros and cons.
Pros:
The atmosphere is decorated impeccably with beautiful ornaments and decor all around.

The Ramen which is the namesake of the restaurant was very good, while I am not a Ramen connoisseur it was very flavorful and had a good portion size in reference to the price point.

The bathrooms were equally clean and well decorated with a nicely finished sink countertop and wall hangings.

Cons:
The appetizers were overpriced and lacking in flavor, for most of them the portion size was abysmally small for the $9-$16 price points.

The service was not rude, but it was extremely slow and the server seemed to be poorly trained, I had to request each time I needed a refill on my drink and she did not seem to be familiar with the menu.

The food took extremely long to come out and when we ordered 4 appetizers one of them arrived significantly later than the rest creating some discontent in our party.

The overall value for the food is good if you only order the Ramen bowls themselves, just skip the appetizers.

I’m so glad to see ramen restaurants opening in the area!
I had the pork gyoza for starters. Pan fried and delicious!
The bowl of ramen I chose was the classic chashu pork. The broth was great, the pork grilled just right, and that marinated egg…. that was the best ramen egg I’ve ever had! Next time I’ll get an extra one of those!
And I look forward to that next visit!

EASILY my favorite ramen place in Greenville. The broth of the Itto Deluxe Ramen and Itto Miso Ramen were both tasty, creamy, and the most similar flavor to ramen in Japan compared to other ramen joints in Greenville. The toppings (egg, chats, bamboo) were PHENOMENAL. The chatsu was fatty, but the perfect amount of it — easy to bite and with perfect char.

The buns on the Pork Itto Buns reminded us of the buns of red bean buns in Tokyo! Japanese beer, soda, and sake available as well.

we will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

This new ramen bar just raised the bar for flavor in Greenville!

There’s nothing like the comfort of a steaming bowl of ramen, and this new bar nails it. Absolutely incredible!

Rich broth, fresh toppings, noodles cooked just right, and a perfect blend of flavors. Plus, everything came out fast.

The service is where things still need a little fine-tuning. The wait staff felt a bit disconnected, like the experience of the guest wasn’t the main focus yet. But here’s the thing, the food completely outshined those hiccups. It was strong enough to carry the whole experience and still make it a great night out.

Bottom line? I’ll definitely be back. Once the service catches up to the quality of the kitchen, this ramen bar will be an absolute staple.

When I walked in and the smell from the kitchen hit my olfactory epithelium, I knew that this place was something special. The fragrance reminded me of the Ramen Museum in Tokyo almost immediately.

I got the Deluxe Ramen and it was sublime… the broth was basically the liquid form of pure satisfaction. It had just the right amount of garlic flavor and was very similar to one of my favorite places in Japan when we lived there .

The various fixens’ (bamboo, meat, egg) were all great and prepared excellently. The pork was a tad bit fatty, but that’s very common and to be expected.

As I sipped the last drop from my bowl, I whispered to my fellow patrons that this is easily my favorite ramen joint in Greenville. It’s a solid 30 minutes drive but it’s well worth it .

The vibe inside was surprisingly great given the location. The menu is extensive, and I tried a lot of stuff. The scallops were a little bit overcooked, but the flavor was good. The yellowtail jalapeño was DELICIOUS. I could’ve eaten several. The eggplant, broth less ramen, spicy ramen, and katsu are all freaking delicious as well. They’ve got a fun cocktail menu, but the apps, hot sake, and ramen were a perfect combination on an icy day. This is definitely in my rotation now. The server was super friendly and fast. I really enjoyed myself.

My husband and I went there tonight after wanting to go for some time. He ordered the seafood ramen and I got the Chashu don. From what he told me the ramen was nothing to write home about but the eggs were amazing. My Chashu don was out of this world and he ended up eating off my plate. We then ordered the crepe cake but it was frozen solid. We mentioned we needed to take it to go as we could not eat it at the moment and they said sorry, it’s either frozen or it goes bad, this didn’t really sit right with me as plenty of places don’t have that issue, but it is what it is. We will be going back to try out more things and we hope that the two blemishes we had tonight are not indicative of the whole menu. The Chashu Don was an absolute saving grace of the night.

As for the service and atmosphere, couldnt ask for more. Everyone was nice and the place was clean from what we could see.

What a nice surprise this turned out to be. The owner took this old building across from Lowes that had been vacant forever and completely remodeled it for this restaurant. Food and service was outstanding!! Restaurant turned out beautifully and is definitely way better than we were expecting. This isn’t your average Americanized Japanese restaurant it feels authentic and we can’t wait to go back.

Great food with a selection of much more than just Ramen. Our server was on top of things. The food came quick, had more taste and character than the “cookie cutter” versions you get most places, and the ramen itself had a great roasted/grilled flavor.
