Order takeout from here order two orders of General Tso’s chicken. it was more like sweet and sour with some hot sauce in it. One was supposed to have broccoli they gave me two pieces of broccoli. I do have to say the egg rolls were good.

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my review and I will no longer be ordering from Happy Star. Their consistency is not there anymore. The last 3 times I ordered from there, I got charged more than the listed price. Not sure if they throw a random credit card fee or what. This last order, I got charged the food price +6% tax, but then on top of that I also got charged + another 5.5%. This “special” Happy Star “tax” third time in a row was over the top for me.
Unfortunately, I am not supporting a business that adds random charges or adds a hidden fee. Therefore, I no longer can recommend this place to anyone.

I order from Happy Star Restaurant every now and again. The food is pretty good. I never had any issues with my orders or mis-understandings unlike some of the other local places. What I like the most is their consistency with food and quality. Portions are decent size too.

Food prepared was quick, but not careful. The attached photo revealed large collection of“ uncooked onions making the majority of my house special chow mein. I will go someplace else next time.

On many occasions I would visit this restaurant and their food has not disappointed me at all. The selections of food that you are able to choose from is so much from Chinese to Japanese cuisines. The restaurant has great service , good food and, well cleanliness. Would highly recommend if you’re craving some new taste or flavors.

Great portions for the price.
My go to is chicken and broccoli; chicken is tender and the sauce balanced. Broccoli is cooked perfectly and still crisp. Great local takeout spot with friendly service.
