Went here for the first time and I was impressed. I ordered the brisket was seriously surprised by the portion. The brisket was super tender and well marbled. It was good by itself I’ve had a couple that were better but once I added the sauce it took it to a whole other level. The smoky flavor of the brisket with the sweetness of the sauce was fantastic. The Brunswick stew one of the best I’ve had not too thick but not too soupy. The potato salad was just okay but overall a great plate.
Service was outstanding. The lady at the front was busy on a call so the owner walked to the front and took my order to get it started while she was on the phone taking an order. He ask if I needed to plastic ware in case I was sharing. I thought he was joking into I opened the box. I’ve been to several BBQ joints on the north side in Roswell and Sandy Springs and they are great but I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less there. Having a great place here in Locust Grove that actually not over priced. I’m sure I’ll be a regular.

Had them twice in the last 2 weeks The brisket is amazing and probably the best I’ve had. The sweet sauce goes perfectly with it. I will definitely be back with the family. Definitely have to try the Brunswick stew I think I’m just going to start buying it in the 32oz option delicious

Was just looking for a bite to eat before doing a little shopping. Sad to say I was disappointed. I got the Pork dinner plate and it was very dry and hard to chew. Looked like shredded wood chips. The Mac and cheese was okay though. It just wasn’t my taste. Cheap bite though.

Great BBQ sandwich and Brunswick stew. Atmosphere is perfect, great addition to the Locust Grove strip, very welcoming, not too fancy, good layout. The pulled pork has a good smoke, not too much, tender but not mushy, cooked just right. I wish my sandwich had some chard pieces but must have been from the middle. Stew was the way I like it, actual stew, didn’t seem blended, I was able to eat it with a fork. Nice sweetness from the corn and meaty tartness similar to their sauce.
Their sauce is a Kansas City style, light, some twang, without being overly sweet. I’d say it was better than “Auight,” it’s solid BBQ. Sweet tea was just right. Their ice cream looks heavenly sweet and well priced, I’ll try it next time. Glad to have this place, well worth the $14 for a solid lunch. Wish they had ribs, maybe one day they’ll expand the menu.

We bought a pan of macaroni and cheese, pan of banana pudding, 5 lbs of pulled pork, and 5lbs of brisket for a family gathering. Everything was an absolute hit! Fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I would recommend It’s Auight BBQ to anyone looking for a local, friendly, family-owned business who cares about feeding It’s customers well. Thanks Bart and Wendy- lunch was a success!
