The sushi rolls here are unique and delicious!! We found this cozy corner restaurant over a year ago and we try new rolls each visit, we haven’t found one we wouldn’t order again! This time we tried the Showtime featuring their sexy (spicy) shrimp, the Spider and the always delicious Philly rolls. They have a huge variety of rolls, handrolls, bento boxes and full dinners. The service here is always attentive and friendly. Great location and easy free parking in the Ralph’s parking lot. Fun to watch sporting events on the many TVs at the bar. We always order the stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer, a must have!! With lava cake for dessert, we left with very full bellies!!

First off, anything with the name “Tabu” in it, I’m checking out!
Decent overall with some good specials, reasonable pricing and a good menu selection. Sat at the bar, it has almost a sport bar vibe which is unexpected at a Japanese place but it was cool.
Worth giving it a shot.

It was my first time eating here. I am not a fan of sushi, so I tried their cooked meals. They have a good variety of cooked meals as well as sushi and appetizers. I ordered gyozas and a bento meal. The order of gyozas didn’t take long to arrive and was very warm and crunchy. They tasted amazing, and their dipping sauce was good, but it is a bit spicy. The bento comes with soup and salad. Everything was brought pretty quickly, but it was well prepared. The whole meal was delicious, the portion size was good, and the price was great. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely eat here again.

The sushi is not only beautifully presented but its sophisticated and delicious. They don’t focus on big rolls with cheap ingredients and a ton of spicy mayo or a thick layer of rice. Take a look at my pictures, the roll fits perfectly in your mouth. Go during happy hour if you want to add some drinks or sake to your order. Happy hour is until 6pm! The only caveat is that depending on the roll you order, it’s not budget friendly but the prices are not outrageously high either.

This is by far my favorite sushi place! My favorite thing on the menu is the crispy rice topped with tuna. Makayla made my experience AMAZING! This is the second time we had the pleasure of dining in her section. Will definitely be back soon.

Update: Ordered the same thing 11/09/24 everything was good except the sautéed veggies were bland and raw. Must of been a different cook because the 1st time they were amazing and popping with flavor.

The lemon roll and the magic mike were fantastic! I want to go back ASAP. If I had to add a negative critique… I was a little irritated that I didn’t get one of those little soy sauce dishes to dip my sushi and wasn’t given wasabi and ginger, we had to go to the counter and ask for it.

We live right around the corner I’ve been coming here since they opened. Their food is always on point. The service however isn’t very fast. A couple times we’ve dined in and gotten take out. This time we were 30 minutes past the time that they gave us. I ordered my food at 6:43 was told 30 minutes however it took an hour and I was walking out at 7:45. We definitely enjoy them there. And we look forward to continuing to eat with them. Maybe more people on the team? Because when we were there only half the tables were full yet everybody seems like they were racing around and super stressed.
