Artsy, casual cafe offering a limited menu of Indian fare served in a heated outdoor setting.

Amazing ambience, no frill service in take away boxes but the seating was comfortable with eclectic decor . The “ Paranda” chandelier was eye catching. The food was piping hot . We ordered Rajma Chawal, kadhi paneer , kadhai chicken and shahi tukda for dessert. I had tears in my eyes , the blast of flavors in the mouth time traveled me to my punjqbi Aunty food back home in India. I myself am a good cook and don’t get impressed easily but after having that food I will highly recommend this GEM . The pricing is so affordable . Loved the food loved staff.

This has been my 5th or 6th time hang Punjabi Affair and it never misses. I don’t have a photo from tonight ( Valentine’s Day special ) cause it was too good I forgot to take a photo! Go and try this place it’s amazing! Start with the butter chicken and then work your way around the menu. The vibe inside is cozy and boho!

Stopped by just for tea. It’s a very small café-style place. You order at the counter, they call your name when it’s ready, and everything else is self-service—sugar for tea, trash disposal, etc. Tea is served in paper cups and most utensils are plastic.
One thing that instantly felt strange: the menu had no prices. Just dish names. You’re supposed to order without knowing what you’re paying, which honestly didn’t sit right with me.
The most confusing part was the “Chef’s Special / Today’s Special” board. The first item listed was “rajma chawal”. A customer asked the person at the counter what it was, and she had no idea. She turned to the kitchen to ask, and from the blank looks, it was clear no one back there knew either. That moment really blew my mind. If the staff doesn’t know what a dish is, how are customers—especially those new to Indian food—supposed to order confidently?
That customer went with something else.

When the website shows beautiful food served on plates but the reality is somewhat different. Plastic bowls and plastic cutlery and drink in a bottle. This is not a restaurant, it’s a fast food joint. You sit down to eat yes but that’s it. Food is served via a hatch and you order here too. As for food, a chicken korma should be rich and creamy and have coconut in it. This is not what I got and my wife’s buttered chicken looked almost identical to mine. Never had a hot korma before looking so brown. First time here and sadly my last. Not recommended at all. I can however recommend Sai Indian.

Delicious. Every bite was fantastic. We had the chicken shawarma and a special goat curry. WOW. WOW WOW WOW. Really an amazing find in Amarillo.
The team was very welcoming and helpful with questions about the dishes.
Also, the spice rating is spot on! 3 out of 5 on the heat scale had a nice bit of very flavorful heat.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We drove from Northern California to Texas, and this place was the last restaurant we visited on our road trip. We were tired, hungry, and the weather was cold, so we were looking for a warm place with great, healthy food. We found this spot in Amarillo, TX. The first thing that attracted us was the wonderful ambiance, which gave us the feeling of home. The decor of the place was relaxing and cozy. The food was delicious, with the right amount of spice. The vibe of this location and the good-quality food were exactly what we needed at that moment. I hope I can manage to visit this place on my next trip to Amarillo.

We started with the Nakh Rah naan and it was soft with a nice crunch and mild sweetness. Fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the chicken/lamb/paneer. Tried the shawarma and it did not disappoint. Juicy meat, bold spices, and just the right amount of sauce. Simple, filling, and hit the spot. You can dine-in and outside as well. The person who took the order was welcoming and smiley

We went here after looking for an Indian restaurant whilst we stayed in Amarillo for one night during our USA road trip from the uk..
We ordered chicken korma , chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken.
The dishes were served with rice and a naan. Food was very tasty and the naan’s were some of the best we have ever had. We sat inside to eat our food and the restaurant was very clean . Would highly recommend.
