It’s funny…. we have all wanted to love someplace (or someone) that we probably shouldn’t. Italianissimo has become that place for me. First time here, we stumbled in with no reservations and got seated at the bar. My husband had a delicious ribeye, I ordered linguine and clams and fell in love with that dish, and the restaurant. We took a peek into the dining room that night, and the place was filled with happy diners- eating, laughing and enjoying. The perfect restaurant picture! Next time we would book a table in the dining room, which we did and had our second trip back to Italianissimo. This time it was New Year’s Eve. Special Occasion Dinner, and the restaurant was indeed, packed. I had my clams again, which were delicious. My husband tried the lasagna which, to his disapointment was so-so. It was tomato rich, lacking any meat or cheese flavor. Sheets of pasta with tomato sauce…very bland. Had better lasagna from Trader Joe’s. We chalked it up to just a bad order….maybe that’s how they make their lasagna?

I’ve been a native of woodinville for over three decades. In all that time, Italianissimo has maintained some of the best food you can get for miles around. From the shrimp bisque, to the handmade pasta, you will not get better eating unless you go to Italy. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is my husband’s and mine go to place for years. We love the service & atmosphere at Italianissimo but mostly we come for the food. Chicken Piccata done the correct way, thin tender chicken, lightly basted with a slight glaze, and the perfect lemon caper sauce. Don’t get me started on the mashed potatoes! Always perfection!

This place is amazing! Every menu item we’ve tried over the years is authentic and delicious. I always get a different fresh pasta item and tonight I had the lasagne which was incredible. Real, Italian lasagna. If you want an American style lasagne with a bunch of meat and melted cheese go to Olive Garden (gross). This is 8 delicate layers of handmade pasta, béchamel, and light tomato sauce, EXACTLY how Italian lasagna should be. The burrata appetizer and salads are all on point. The service has always been top notch, and I’m speaking as someone who’s had 20+ years in the restaurant business. If I could eat there every day I would. Don’t hesitate, just make a reservation and be prepared to go back again and again. Thank you Italianissimo team for making every experience there amazing!

What a wonderful dining experience I had at this little Italian gem of a restaurant. I came upon it by chance during my evening walk. My mind said no but my tummy said yes and led the way. Mind you it was 7:45 when I arrived just 15 minutes before they closed. Instead of scowls and grumblings that I was so late, I was welcomed in like a lost hungry cousin. They all were more than eager to serve me. I was apologetic, but they assured me they had time. The manager came over and said, “Don’t worry. I won’t let you leave hungry.” Within minutes the bread came flying in with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, napkins, silverware, water, and menu were all laid out in front of me on a beautiful white table cloth. The waitress Teresa was a breath of fresh air. I was treated like royalty. She was so cheerful, upbeat, professional and happy to serve. Sometimes fine dining Italian restaurants can have an air of snobbery and stuffiness, but not here. Family is the only word that comes to mind. I ordered linguine pasta with anchovies, olives, hold the capers and extra red sauce. All my special wants were fulfilled with a smile. The pasta dish was delicious, the service impeccable. I scarfed it down, paid and had the rest wrapped up to go. It was seamless all the while bring reassured there was no rush. I cant wait to return to this establishment soon. They had mo idea I was a Google Reviewer with 22 Million views. I could have been John Smith just off the street and they would have received the same outstanding service. Bon appetit y Arivederci. Until we dine again.

I burnt out on Italian food years ago, and Italianissimo Ristorante resurrected that lost passion. Wait, first, the cocktails were exceptional. The app was spinach sautéed and it was amazing. And the special, ravioli, was divine.
