We had Italian a few months back based on my memory from high school it used to be an upscale rest. with a lot to offer, sadly that was 30 years ago. It seems to have passed its prime at least 10 years ago, the staff were okay and certainly sweet but the food was so-so and about as fine. Decent prices but not what they used to be. How sad.

I am vegetarian and was informed that all of the red sauces have pork in them, annoying but understandable and not a big deal. Server told me my best (and only) option on the menu was the ziti with broccoli which sounded good and I didn’t mind. she was nice and I liked her. But when I tell you there was enough oil in this pasta for the USA to start a war over it… oh my god it was genuinely repulsive. broccoli was overcooked, but the worst part wasn’t just the sheer volume of oil, but that it was completely clear and had no flavor. I think it was vegetable or canola oil not even olive oil. The service was fine and the server was nice enough and served us quick despite it being busy so the stars are for that, but whoever is running the menu is trying to give you a heart attack. please use actual good oil or at least olive oil if you’re going to charge $18 for a plate of pasta with oil and broccoli. Attached is a photo of the solid half cup of oil that was drained from the pasta when I got home, minus the oil that leaked out of the container into the bag.

What a great find off the highway. Exactly what we looking for. DO NOT LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE AND GO DIRECTLY HERE. Portions were generous but more importantly the flavor and taste of home made Italian were there. Thanks Italian Villa team.

In Hornell New York, this place rocks with great meals and service. I have been eating in the establishment for many years. I highly recommend trying it out.

I had the Chicken Parm which came with a side of spaghetti and a soup or salad. I chose the Italian Wedding soup which was tasty. The portion sizes is large and I consider this to be classic Italian. The decor is quite dated and the prices are pretty high for this area. It was a Wednesday night and there was only one other customer. I suspect this restaurant will not survive unless they lower the prices. Another restaurant 1/4 mile down the road looked packed.

We love the Villa. Food is exceptional and plentiful. The wait staff are amazing, efficient, and very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. Stuffed shells are the best. Also love the brocoli and ziti in garlic oil. I can get three meals out of the serving size!
