Traveled to Rocky Mount for work related activities. This place is authentic. Closest taste to New York you can have. Pizza was perfect, best damn 5 dollars ever spent. Great portions, great people working, and friendly experience.
5/5, they’ve earned me as a long term customer. I will be traveling here more, and will be returning without a doubt. Food was quick, genuine, and priced very well.

This is in my opinion the best Pizzeria in the Rocky Mount area. The food is great and the owner is a person who take pride in his food and truly care about all his customers. A great family restaurant this from a man born and raised in Brooklyn who has lived here for 20+ years.

When I went in there was one customer. I ordered a slice of pizza and a cheese steak hogie. When I received the order the slice of pizza was cold. The cheese steak hogie was subpar and barely warm. The meat had a bitter sour taste and was not edible. I have been a customer since the 90’s but no more. This is just the latest in bad food and bad experiences with this establishment.

I’ve been eating at Italian Pizzeria since the 90’s. Not even Hurricane Floyd could take them down in 1999! The service had always been outstanding and the…food…..well i think they have the best cheesesteak hoagie in the world!

Love their pizza. The owners wife is such a SWEETHEART! They bring what i guess ppl would say “new york style” pizza to lil ol country Rocky Mount NC. ..i usually get a single slice pizza for about $2.80.
They Have stopped selling slices after 5pm and on Fridays…
Cheesesteaks are great…. Fries are made to order! They dont just have them sitting under a heat lamp…fresh fries without Having to request it, gotta love that!!

Unfortunately… Not good pizza. NY born and raised… And pizza enthusiast. And this “NY” pizza place has lost its way. No reason to belabor all the short-comings. If you are passing through Rocky Mount like I was look elsewhere for a good slice.
