We visited Italian Kitchen Restaurant for the first time for a date night and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a perfect evening.
The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, and gave us some great recommendations. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The calamari was easily the star appetizer, perfectly crispy and flavorful—10/10. The warm bread served with oil and vinegar was such a nostalgic touch, instantly bringing back memories of my grandma’s kitchen.
For our main course, the pasta dishes were cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care. We finished the meal with the Godfather dessert, which was rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending.
This place is an absolute gem! We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend for date nights, family dinners, or any occasion where you want authentic Italian food in a warm and welcoming setting.

Love the atmosphere and staff. Lasagna was tasty though I like a bit more spicy sausage. Stuffed mushrooms were a hit. Salad was a miss, but they did not charge for it when pointed out.

This dinner was truly one of the most memorable experiences I have had locally. The gorgonzola steak was exceptional—rich, tender, and full of flavor. The clams were also outstanding, exceptionally fresh and well-seasoned, making each bite a delight. The spumante ice cream provided a perfect and elegant finish. Overall, this meal was among the best I have enjoyed in Spokane, leaving a lasting impression.

I picked the Italian Kitchen restaurant for my birthday dinner last night and it exceeded all expectations. The food was very delicious. We started with the meatballs, which we knew immediately we wanted to try. I then had the lasagna and my fiancé chose the spicy gnocchi. We couldn’t finish our meals as the portion sizes were equally balanced for the prices, but we had to bring our leftovers home as it was too good to leave behind.
Our waiter Brian was very polite and you could tell he was happy to be there as he joked with us and provided excellent service and wine suggestions, always speaking with pride about the food the restaurant provided. When we couldn’t find the room for more, he brought out a complimentary birthday dessert to end our meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was just lovely. It provided the family and culture vibes as well as a sweet romance feel for our date. We will most definitely be celebrating more at this beautiful eatery.

We love it here! We’ve been here for dates. We’ve been here with family. It’s our favorite Italian place for CdA and Spokane. Service is great. Food is to die for! Be sure to request those cannolis before they sell them out!

Wonderful experience. Great food me and my girlfriend came for our 1 year and it was very memorable. I got that chicken Alfredo and it was simple but quite delicious. Not too creamy or heavy and wonderful flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND:)

My husband and I had dinner here before going to the Fox Theatre for a show. We ordered their signature calamari appetizer, a Caesar salad and a lasagna which they graciously split for us! Their portion sizes were generous, my husband ended up finishing my half of the lasagna. We loved the cozy atmosphere, and our waiter, Michael, provided us with fantastic service! We loved how everything came out either steaming hot – or iced cold and refreshing (our salads). Their hot, fresh, homemade bread was a nice bonus. And if we had had time to get dessert we would’ve — definitely will be going back to try their tiramisu! Yelp has some really negative views, but I’m so glad we decided to try it anyways. A hidden gem in Spokane!

My husband took me here for my birthday dinner, it was so amazing and delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy, and the servers/hostesses are extremely kind. We ordered the fried mozzarella, oven baked lasagna, and I made my own pasta platter! The meatballs and sausages are always delicious. We also ordered “The Godfather” as a dessert, it was so amazing! Id love to come back and eat here again!

Had dinner with my wife here last night. The service was top notch, and the food was even better. I had the Tuscan chicken and I would go back again just to order that. Was hard to pick from no less than 8 things on the menu that sounded delicious. Lots of seating options, including a nice area for a romantic date night. Highly recommend.
