Italian Family Pizza advertises itself as having NYC-style pizza… sorry, but this ain’t it. Maybe their large pie is better, but the small was positively tiny (smaller than its claimed 12 inches) and the crust was wafer-thin and too flimsy to fold. Service was decent, but the pizza itself just wasn’t very good.

A very solid meal for the family or date night for an incredibly fair price in First Hill! Is it the best pizza in the area? No. I personally thought the sauce needed a little more seasoning, but the dough is hand stretched to order, the staff was incredibly nice, and you can’t find a better deal on a 12 inch pie (excluding Domino’s). 12/10 would recommend the cannolis and the garlic knots were DIVINE!

We bought this based on descriptions and reviews. Now I think the reviews are fake. The only thing “NY” about this was the size of the slice.

Roommate and I went here for lunch. They have two main pizza sizes: a 12 inch one and a 23 inch one. We went for the 23 inch pizza.

Amazing pizza with great flavor and texture. Garlic knots were delicious and service was great. I definitely wish they had pizza joints like this in my area instead of the typical chain restaurant pizza companies. I’d take this style of pizza over any big name company any day. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a good classic style pizza for lunch and a nice relaxed setting. Staff is very friendly and place is very clean.

Really good pizza. Best New York style pizza in Seattle area, best you’ll find besides Brooklyn Bros in Everett. In New York this pizza would get 3 stars, but it’s the best you’ll find here. Delicious, chewy thin crust, a little greasy (tons of grease on the bottom of the crust though… weird), tomato sauce was good. Pizza char was not done right. Pizza from here is best eaten right away, if you wait longer than 15-20 minutes throw it in the toaster oven for a few minutes at 500 degrees.

This is a great place for a large group the pizzas are gigantic and delicious! They also serve up a nice house salad with a yummy dressing. There’s no outside seating and parking is really tough, but it’s really yummy and great for take-out. The tomato pie is vegan, but that’s it.

A large pizza is like $40. To add one topping is about $4. That is about $3 more than any other pizza shop in the area. I added three and that pizza hardly has anything on it. I mentioned I couldn’t see myself having this pizza for multiple meals and was disappointed with the whole thing compared to what I heard about the place. I’d say it was 90% dough. Cannoli was ok. Service was terrible. We had to ask for napkins, had to ask for the salad dressing, had to ask for our cannoli, had to ask for everything and it ended up being really slow service when nobody was there and two employees. I don’t know how this place is still open at this point. If everyone had food and service like ours.

Pretty good pizza, their small size feeds 2 if you don’t wanna get too full so the price isn’t bad. Just don’t come here if you have dietary restrictions. My partner has a dairy allergy and without fail, every time we have asked for cheese on one half of the pizza, they have put cheese all over it and had to make it again. Also don’t come here if you’re in a hurry — I wasted a whole lunch break once when one server was obviously high and the other spent her shift chatting with a customer. It took them 10 minutes to even take our order (we had to go up to the front and ask them to do so, we were some of the only people in the whole restaurant), and then it took them 15 minutes to make the pie, and when I went up to the front to ask about it with 5 minutes left in my break, they had put cheese all over it. I used to really like this place but the service just sucksocks, unfortunately.
