Been wanting to try this place for a while, since we have tried multiple Italian places in different states. I just sent my daughter up there to get chicken alfredo. This is by far THE WORST chicken alfredo I have ever eaten! DEF NOT A TRUE ITALIAN RESTARANT!!! The chicken was in little squares like it came from a can, the sauce was very bland and just downright awful! Disgusting and will never eat here again nor refer anyone here! They need to look up Mama D’s in Calvery City Kentucky and take notes!! She is true Italian, makes her sauce from scratch!

It’s been a while since we have been up that way since moving out of state, but their sweet bread subs are fantastic, especially dipped in some of their cheese sauce. 9 of us went and they were fast, food was delicious and they were super friendly. Thanks for being there, Italian Express!

We came to eat dinner here. The food was very good. When asked by the owner how everything was, we did comment that the garlic bread was not very hot. They went and instantly made us a fresh garlic bread that was hot and so good!! He told me that they will do whatever is needed if something doesn’t meet our expectations. They also made an exception for us to get a sub sandwich with garlic bread as well. I highly recommend coming here if you haven’t before.

I normal would give this a 5 because we love going there for lunch. The waitresses are wonderful and it’s always clean. However this past Monday we took mom there for lunch. They had the parking lot cleared and the sidewalk but they pushed the snow so you had to step over or walk through a mound of snow to get to the sidewalk. It was not handicap accessible! It have taken a few minutes 2 make a path from the parking lot to the sidewalk. Very disappointed! Here are a few photos.

We love Italian Express restaurant in Canton, IL. We order their Italian beef….which is excellent! Also we like their tortellini, with garlic bread….which is so yummy. Their salads are crisp, it has crunchy garlic croutons and we get italian vinegar & oil salad dressing to go on top. We tried their lasagna with garlic bread and it was wonderful. Large portions and sometimes my hubby and I split an order for lunch Service is fast and friendly and the food is priced well for the amount of food you get. WOW Anything we have tried is tasty and delicious. The restaurant is very clean. A very hometown feel to this restaurant, and gets 5 stars from me.

Ordered carryout. Never again will I eat at this establishment. The lasagna had to be heated when I got it home as well as the garlic bread. The prices were higher than menu prices. Did not even receive the ranch with the salad that I ordered. Been awhile since I ate from here but definitely does not taste well compared to years ago. Very disappointed and would not recommend. Would not give one star but couldn’t post the review without posting one.
