Decided to go to Italian Americal Grill as I was craving Italian food. Was a great decision and just what I wanted!
I had a delicious chicken parmesan with homeade sauce. It was very filling for one person and I’m a big eater.
The chicken was juicy and the sauce was very authentic tasting. Highly recommend!
The owner was present and he brought his incredible cooking skills all the way from the great Philadelphia, USA
it’s a little pricy but I didn’t mind as I enjoyed every bite

I’m originally from Philadelphia so I HAD to try the Philly cheesesteak. OMG!! Best steak sandwich I had since leaving Philly! Turns out, the owner lived in South Philly! That explains it lol!! Great menu, delicious food!

Mega-review. I come to Renacimiento Grill a lot. There’s nothing I don’t like. My favorite is the Pasta Bolognese (I add bacon!). I’m from California, home of my beloved In-N-Out…so I can appreciate a good burger too. The owner Guillermo is super friendly and spent quite some time in the U.S. so if you see him…say hi to him for me!
I’ve annotated the pictures but in case you can’t see them, I’ll add it here written too:
* [Bacon Cheeseburger] An amazing burger! Bacon + cheese = heaven. The bun is magical. I am legit hungry writing this review. Oh and the French fries have nice big salt crystals too, love them.
* The [Philly Cheesesteak] sandwich is the bomb. Juicy. The ingredients are a little different from a traditional Philly but I think this works better! I believe its shredded Punta de Anca steak (sorry if I got that wrong!).
* I love me a [Meatball Sandwich]. It’s bigger than it looks! I think I took some home on this one…
* Unofficial menu item as of 9/13/2021…but boy is this [Breakfast Sandwich] good. Paired with a nice cappuccino and an orange juice and you’ve got yourself a great brunch! I hope it makes it to the full menu! 😉
* This is my favorite dish! The [Pasta Bolognese]. I asked for bacon added to it! Oh my gosh soo good. Seriously love the bread and butter too…I think the bread has rosemary in it and the butter is tastefully salted.
* I got a [Chicken Quesadilla]…ooey gooey yummy! Unofficially…I got mine with buffalo sauce in it and loved it 😉
* I have also tried their tacos! I can’t find the pictures right now…but they are tasty! I esp. love the salsa. The taco meal is a bit smaller than the others, comes with 3 of them
* Oh…and another possibly unofficial menu item…there may be cocktails 😉

Excellent. Menu selection was a bit limited but I suspect that’s because they are so busy, and some Americans passed by us on the way out and told us to have patience because it was worth it and apparently the kitchen was reduced to only one chef. We are glad we waited. The food was the best Italian I’ve had in Colombia, and I’ve been all over the country. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Medellin.

100% worth visiting. Lazy lasagna dish, shrimp scampi, Philly cheese loaded fries, the vodka sauce is incredible.

Authentic Italian/American cuisine. Fabulous food just like Mama used to make back in Napoli and Palermo Italy and Brooklyn. You will leave smiling from ear to ear.
The Filet Mignon with the Pasta in Alfredo Sauce with Fries will Blow you away. The finest Filet Mignon I have ever eaten anywhere on earth. No exaggeration!!!!!. And newly added the Fabulous Canoli. The best I have ever eaten anywhere on earth. Truly an amazing experience.
