I tasted the best gyro I’ve ever had at Mediterranean Istanbul in late December 2025. I walked here from the hotel at 1am with hunger pangs gnawing at me. I found this place by looking at “restaurants near me” on Google Maps. They were open late and had one of my favorite cuisines- so it was a no-brainer. After almost a mile walk, I got in line behind 25 people. The line moved decently quickly for the length, but it was well worth the wait. Nearing the front of the line, the space is situated so customers will drool on themselves while being forced to watch the giant meat hunks rotating in all their glory whilst dripping juices. When I reached the cash register, the cashier told me her favorite thing on the menu is the Turkish gyro with lamb, so that’s what I got! I was in heaven.
Maybe I just haven’t ordered gyros from the right places in the past, because I have never had it topped with feta soaked in tzatziki sauce like I found here. The feta added a bitey-ness I’d never experienced in a gyro before.
Between two entrees and hummus with a pita for dipping, we spent $70 after tip. That’s steep compared to home, but not unusual for Vegas Strip pricing. And it being the best gyro I’ve ever had, I wasn’t upset with the price.
There are some small tables and bar seats just across the way from the cash register. For me, it was well worth grabbing those seats so we could enjoy our food while it was hot (instead of walking the mile back to the hotel).
Will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

First time went to that place and it absolutely worth trying!! Food was fresh and delicious. They had long line but it was worth the wait. Once you order it doesn’t take that long. Hard to find a table to sit as place is always crowded. But it’s a must when in Vegas!!!! Got chicken shawarma bowl and a side of fries.

Was on the strip and looking for Halal food when we came across this Halal Turkish spot carry out spot. I ordered the Turkish Pita with lamb/beef sandwich; highly highly recommend getting this sandwich with the Turkish bread, house sauce and tziki. Fantastic taste and hit the spot. The portion of the sandwich was also really big. The location can be difficult to get to and being on the strip especially at night is an experience on its own ( often a pitiful one with creeps and lewd advertisements). I was informed they have a downtown location with more options, and will be checking them out there.

During thanksgiving break, we stayed at Horseshoe Hotel. In front of the entrance , there are many shops, and one of them is Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant (Halal). It’s a popular place with a line of people waiting.
We ordered the chicken doner wrap and the mixed doner rice bowl, and they were so tasty and fresh that we went back and ordered again on another night. A good spot to eat if you’re nearby.

A couple of my coworkers had good things to say about this place.
I went here for dinner one night and I found the food to be pretty tasty.
The beef and lamb wrap was filling and had plenty of fresh vegetables. Nothing soggy or past its prime. The chiktofe was a new experience. I found it had a spicy sauce and tasted like it had the consistency of mashed chickpeas. Still, it was pretty good.
Overall, I was satisfied. I’d be willing to give this place another try.

The line was long but it sort of moved quickly. I ordered a beef and lamb doner salad bowl. For the price, I got this gigantic portion that can easily last 2-3 meals. For this being on the strip, the price was cheap for how much you get. People that say this is overpriced forget that they’re getting food on the strip versus in the suburbs. The shawarma is not the best I’ve had but it was decent. It filled that hunger feeling. I got better value here than at Gordon Ramsay’s Fish and Chips. Overall, I would give this a 4. The meat quality is a 3. Like I said, on the strip everything is overpriced but this is one of the better deals if you don’t want to eat expensive American food.

Staff were really nice and the food is SO worth it. Averaging $15–20 the serving sizes are very generous, honestly good for two people. Food is made fresh in front of you 10/10.

I tried Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant and the experience was very good. I tried both the chicken and the meat, and they were well cooked, flavorful, and very filling. The quality of the food really stands out.
Based on the menu, the prices are reasonable and fair, especially for the portion size and quality you get—not cheap, but definitely worth it. The location is very convenient and the place is comfortable overall. A solid choice and I’d happily come back again. ️✨

Yum! I love this little shop and dining area near Paris and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. I ordered the falafel and it was delicious. The customer service is wonderful too. Tip: take your food across the street and eat it during the Bellagio Fountain display.
