I just recently discovered Iso Iso Ramen & Boba in Danville, VA and so far, I’m loving it! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere for those dining in and service is good. I’ve had the Shoyu (Braised Beef) Ramen a couple of times now, which was delicious, however, the broth could’ve been seasoned a bit more. The marinated egg in the ramen was SO good, but they only give you a half of an egg and they charge $2 to add 1 whole add, which is crazy to me!? And though it’s a nice hefty portion (2 sittings for me), I do find it to be a bit pricey. The Dynamic Roll Sushi is absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely order it again! The Lychee Tea is wonderfully delicious and my favorite fruit tea at Iso Iso, so far! I normally love the flavor of passionfruit, but the Passionfruit Tea just didn’t quite hit the spot like the Lychee Tea did!? I can’t wait to try their Thai Tea!! I have never been impressed with Mochi Donuts, but I must say this restaurant has the BEST I’ve ever had thus far. The pistachio one was phenomenal, but the milk chocolate one wasn’t bad! I would recommend you try this restaurant for yourself, if you happen to be in or around the Danville area! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This place is beautiful on the inside with authentic Japanese decorations. My Strawberry Milk Tea was delicious, but their ramen needs some work. I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and my meal looked great when it came to the table. However, I found the pork broth to be quite bland, and some of the ingredients were cold, as if they just took it out the fridge and plopped it on top the noodles. The egg was cooked and marinated perfectly, but it being cold affected the goey texture and flavor of the egg, which is personally my favorite part of a hot bowl of Ramen. My boyfriend ordered the Iso Iso spicy ramen, and the spice was so overpowering, thats all you can taste. His toppings were cold as well. I also want to note that I was charged extra for the tapioca pearls that were in my already $7 drink, which I think is unnecessary. My boyfriend asked to substitute his corn with bamboo shoots, and was charged an extra $1 as an add on for only 4 or 5 small bamboo shoot pieces, and an whole egg is an extra $2. Overall I think the food is pricey for the quality. To end on a positive note, the service and presentation was great.

Beautiful decorations, and relaxing atmosphere. The place was very peaceful. We had a chicken dumpling appetizer and loved it. Our waitress was very professional, friendly and charming. We were not really impressed with the menu. The price was a little high for ramen.

Came here for ramen and boba so that’s what I got. It’s a good ramen spot for it to be in Danville. I’m happy to see the area is growing with different taste. I just hope they continue to do great especially for the people who have never had this kind of food and/or boba! So far the service is nice and I do like the atmosphere, it feels and looks clean. Another thing, make sure to read the menu thoroughly because I see people complaining about the noodles they use. It specifically tells you what noodles you’re getting with the bowl YOU choose.

This is a nice, clean, new, beautiful restaurant in Danville. Both times I have tried it the waitresses are very attentive and nice. On my 1st trip I tried the chashu buns with pork belly, strawberry milk tea, the chicken rice bowl, and the Tonkotsu Ramen. The 2nd time I tried the Gyoza & Iso Iso Ramen. The appetizers and milk tea are great! I recommend the chashu buns. The downfall is the Ramen. It falls very short of other ramen I have tried. I have never had such flavorless, bland ramen before until this place. And they have no other sauces or spices to flavor it up a notch besides soy sauce and some type of flavorless oil. For $14+ for a bowl of Ramen I expected alot more!

Very nice ramen bowls with good portions. Lots of options including all you can eat sushi. Bathrooms weren’t very clean and service wasn’t the best not bad just doing the bare minimum.

Super cute place. I got black tonkatsu ramen. It was really good. Flavorful broth and good with chili oil. The noodles were so good! Of course I also got boba. The boba was also yummy. I got oolong with lychee jelly. The server was really sweet. I loved the all their touches with their logo like their napkins, boba cups, chopsticks and their cute rug. Y’all need to sell shirts!!!

I heard about this place has a delicious noodles, specially “Ramen” I thought I can give it a try, I ordered Ramen noodles soup, what a disappointment, I liked the presentation of the food, but not the flavor at all. I ordered boba Taro milk tea, and again an other disappointment, just milk no taro flavor at all.
The only thing I liked it it was the Service.
Well…. lesson learned. This is not for me.

We enjoyed our visit to Iso Iso. The Ramen, dumplings, and Boba were great! The server was kind and friendly. However, it took a while to be seated when the restaurant was very empty, and it was hard to get our waitress to come back more than once.
