This is the only place to get authentic Chinese food (specifically Cantonese style) in the North Bay.
I frequent Fantasy any time I need my Chinese food fix and SF is just a little too far.
Would recommend you try the salted fish and chicken fried rice. It’s always a family favorite. Their specials are usually good and when they have crab it is a must order for us as well.

I’m from out of town and was looking for an authentic Cantonese Restaurant for Chinese New Year. Fantasy Restaurant hit all the right criteria points! There menu is excellent and flavor profiles on their dishes (the ones I had) were on point! You won’t be disappointed coming this hole in the wall restaurant.
For reference I ordered (and yes I had a ton of leftovers):
Chicken and Imitation shark fin soup
1/4 lbs crispy pork bell
1/4 lbs bbq pork
1/2 princess chicken
1/2 bbq duck
Snow pea leaves
Vegetable chow mein
Ginger and scallion lobster
Salt and pepper pork chops

i will never forgive myself for taking an entire year of living here to find this spot when i’ve been looking for authentic chinese food in the area for so long. i thought god had forsaken me. i had to settle for crab rangoons and orange chicken. then i walked in here just now. and looked at the menu. and then at the roast meat hanging on the wall. i knew i was home

Food was Great, 1st time having duck and ot was delicious. The Chow Mein was better than most, my daughter described it as if they made the noodles and the fried rice was really good, it had a buttery taste which I really enjoyed. They used nice cuts of meat. They have a Live Crab tank and can pick a dungeons crab for your meal. I wish I could have tried more food but I thought it was a bit pricey. For 2 people we paid around $45 a person for lunch. I want to come back for the hot pot but you can only do it for dinner which is a bummer.

My first time and LAST time here. Ordered beef fried rice and chicken wings to go. $35.04 most expensive I’ve paid anywhere in Petaluma! Bought anyway, benefit of the doubt that this food could be amazing!! NOT!! Rice was bland and small serving, chicken wings were uncooked. See pic… ok one more thing how is their client service… told them I drive 5 miles to my house, just to drive back!! They did not apologize offered to recook the wings….I said no. Returned the chicken- still charged me for the rice. Just disappointing.

Hot pot was amazing! Would definitely recommend and go here again. This place put me into a food coma. We had a lot of leftovers so next time it would be nice to eat hotpot with many people.

There isn’t a Chinese restaurant like this one around here, they got delicious Chinese bbq. I had the choose 2 bbq lunch combo with duck and pork belly. The duck was not dry tasted delicious. Pork belly skin was crispy and juicy. I was not disappointed!

Authentic food. The lobster noodles were very delish. A light sauce to go with the lobster and not overpower the delicate flavor of the lobster. Chive dumplings are divine! We also had a shrimp dish that was very nice and huge. Good service.

Im not one to give bad reviews but honestly this place was horrible from the beginning. Service was horrible, didn’t greet us, didn’t come take our order until asked, they charged us for everything, we asked for a side of lemons it was an up charge a side of sauce was an up charge. The server seemed overstimulated and was rude when questions were asked regarding the menu. The food quality was insanely disappointing. We ordered a fried shrimp and the shrimp still had the head and skin uncooked which defeats the purpose of fried shrimp? The price is way too high for the quality of food served. The only thing that was decent food was the hot pot. I will never return to this place.
