The nostalgia of camping in northern Wisconsin is alive and well at Island View. From the quaint rustic cabins, sweeping sunrises, the buzz of nature every morning, this place is breathtaking. Anyone who’s traveled and vacationed in beautiful nature scapes, knows how difficult it can be to go out to eat for a decent meal or a properly crafted drink. Not at Island View. They have a fantastic family friendly bar and restaurant right on site! I had the absolute best damn Old Fashioned poured at Island View and amazing pickle chips! The burger was phenomenal and filling. I quickly realized why the place was such a busy local watering hole and busy for the whole week I was there. I absolutely recommend staying and eating at IVL for your next vacation!

What a gem of a place off the beaten trail. We came here with friends after hearing others rave about their time spent here. It was a Tuesday so they were only serving Tacos on the evening. There was only two choices to be made, hard shell or soft. They were small but delivered 3 at a time and were both delicious and all you can eat. The place was packed to the brim for taco and trivia night but we were still taken care of in a timely manner. We spent a few hours here and enjoyed the food and their interesting take on trivia. The announcer had a unique personality and was quick with a joke when walking around to hand out the papers for the game. We all had a great time here and will definitely return when the opportunity arises.

We have been enjoying Island View since Erin and Alex bought the resort and love the little slice of old world lake resorting. Originally came by snowmobile but now more by UTV. We bring our dog now dogs and always have great pub food and fun atmosphere. They make everyone feel welcome and entertainment is in the menu decor and people. Love hearing of their travels from the past and plans for the future. If you are there on a Saturday ask for a perch fish sandwich with cheese it’s not on the menu but mm mm good!

This place is AMAZING!!! BEST mushroom swiss I’ve ever had. Awesome kids menu which is the most fun thing in the world. Great friendly people and an out of this world view. So much fun super kid friendly will definitely be going back!

This is hands down our favorite destination bar in the area. At first glance you might not see the attraction, but the minute you step into the place and meet Alex and Erin, the owners, you will be hooked. We’re not bar people, but we intentionally go out to Island View as much as we can throughout the year to support them and their business. They are always trying new things and making it fun, which is the biggest draw for us. So, if you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, you should definitely make a trip out there. You won’t be disappointed.

Very cool out of the way place. Has a very nice screened-in porch. On that day we were there, it was quite hot in the bar! It was very cool out on the screened in porch, where you had dining tables also. We had the all you could eat fish fry. Everything was very good! And reasonable.

Went with a group of sxs friends. It was amazing how the bartender and cook could keep up with everyone who was there. We will be back in the summer/fall next yr when they reopen! Food and service was awesome! Our first time there but definitely not our last!

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. The cabins are well kept and nicely furnished. Fishing’s great too. I always look forward to my yearly trip with my buds around Labor Day weekend.
