So first off for those new, it is a sit down restaurant with servers. You don’t have to order at the window, that’s for carry out orders only. Breakfast is not served all day ( sadly which is what I was hoping to get) when I arrived, there was only 1 table left. And it’s VERY LOUD. If you struggle with lots of people laughing and noise, This is not the place for you. I actually am struggling with the excessive loudness being here. The interior design is perfect for a café style environment. Not a fan of the farm house chairs. I know they’re ” in style ” but, function over design. They’re extremely uncomfortable if you’re a plus size person. They have a bit of everything. Sandwiches, soup, salad, burgers, pizza. Great for everyone. The food is good, not great. I’ve had better sandwiches elsewhere. I asked for no onion, and it had onion. So I had to pick that off. The first bite into my chicken bacon ranch sandwich, the chicken was grisly but the broccoli salad was terrific!!! – And it’s connected to the coffee shop, via a door that separates the 2 businesses. My honest opinion. 1. I would not do servers, I’d just let people order at the window, let someone bring them their food. 2. I would offer breakfast all day, clearly people want breakfast!!!! I’ve read the other reviews here.

Traveling from out of town and stopped in. It’s a seat yourself restaurant. We got the Tuesday Meatloaf special and it was fantastic you could tell every bit of the meal was homemade. I loved the peppers and sauce they used and don’t get me started on their green beans . This place knows how to make an amazing green bean. They’re cooked perfectly and the flavor is great. Its the best green beans I’ve had at any restaurant.

Food is delicious and the prices are affordable and offer a great value! Food is homemade style, and the flavors are outstanding. I had the Tuesday special (meatloaf with bacon green beans and scalloped potatoes) and would definitely recommend it! Staff is very friendly and provides fantastic and friendly customer service! Will be back!

Food here was great. I had a chicken bacon ranch grinder and my wife had the grilled cheese. Both were delicious. Went back for breakfast the next day and had the Western omelette. This was very good too. The wait staff was very friendly and service was great. Will definitely be going here again.

My mom & I stopped for lunch. I had Wednesday special which was Salisbury steak, potatoes,gravy,& green beans. Mom had chicken quesadilla. Great food & friendly wait staff. Stop & enjoy some great food.

Stopped in during our visit to Shipshewana, and this was the best lunch we’ve had in the area! Pulled pork sandwich was tender, bacon on the BLT was thick cut and flavorful, and the grilled chicken club was delicious! Service was fast and kind, and prices were cheap. Will be back, 100%!

I’m unsure why you can’t have breakfast items which consisted of the same items lunch did. However, first time I ever had a sweet potatoes quesadilla.. it was ok.

Okay, so for our quest to find the best pizza we went to a little hole in the wall Corn crib Cafe, we wanted to try the pizza here because diamonds come from the most hidden places sometimes.
We ended up getting a 16 inch specialty meat pizza.
There was 6 of us and so this was how the ratings turned out.
Crust was not greasy at all, plenty of cheese and decent amounts of cheese. The pizza had a comforting home taste. My daughters loved it and one gave a 5 on a one to 5 scale , 5 being the highest. The other daughter and I gave it a 4 good but not really something u would HAVE to have again. The men gave it a 3-4. So as you can see the pizza isn’t bad, it really depends on what your looking for.
The service on the other hand, I don’t know if they were just tired by the time we got there but we didn’t get silverware until 15 min in and that meant eating appetizers with forks. Only half of us got straws and had to say something twice before we got the rest of them. The pizza is why we gave the restaurant 4 stars. Not because of the service. They were also out of mac and cheese.
The place is pretty clean so that is also a plus.

Pretty good breakfast. I’d give it a good 4/5. The service was excellent and the food was decent. Located right next to a coffee shop – so that’s cool.

This was our first time eating at this little breakfast and brunch restaurant. The loaded potato soup was absolutely outstanding! Best ever! My husband and I cannot stop telling others to check out this treasure. We also had the sweet potato quesadilla which was huge enough to share PLUS take some home for another meal. The rhubarb pie had a flavorful lattice topped crust and creamy texture inside and so delicious. Mary, our server, was engaging, accommodating, and personable. The only negative is regarding the noise level which was loud and distracting. This will not prevent us from returning again in the future.
