Welcome to Island Root Royal palm kava bar. We sell different kava’s from the South Pacific Islands. Our main focus is customer service and high-quality noble kava and exotic tea. We sale a wide verity of craft kava made fresh daily. Kava taste is earthy with a slightly bitter taste because kava is in the pepper family. We also sell hot and cold excotic teas. Kava bars bring people together and create a friendship with a warm relaxed vibe. The atmosphere is like no other kava bar in palm beach county. We have been EST 2011 and this is our 3rd location with the 4th one being built right now. Come on down and see what all the buzz is about.

This place has provided a true community for me and the people who work here and other customers have been there for me when going through hard times in life. The Sunday brunch is awesome and Haylee and Sebastian have made it so welcoming!! Maddy, Narin, Kody, Josh, Maynard, Rob and Christina are always attentive and engage with me when I’m there. The owner, John, always takes time to talk with me and ask about my life when he’s there. I really feel like it’s a family here. The drinks are great and the environment is cozy. Pool table, outside seating, inspiring wall art, friendly people, dog friendly and constant events for holidays and trivia night, live music on Fridays, happy hours every day. I would invite anyone to come try it out if you’re looking for a non pressure environment to destress and meet great people!!! It will not disappoint.

Bar so many times and decided to finally stop. The atmosphere was totally chilled, the bartenders were awesome and knowledgeable and my drink gave me a buzz . I will be back for sure
Update from my first review over 1 year ago. Island Root is my # 1 chill spot. Always a great time and awesome crowd. My favorite bartender is Narin, hook me up with the best Cherry limeade, it’s always on point with that beautiful smile. However all the bartenders are super. Management excellent job keeping the pool table in great condition and decorating the bar per occasion.

This was my third time going to Island Root, and it honestly gets better every time. I went on Monday and they had poker, which was absolutely amazing—it added such a fun energy to the already laid-back vibe. The staff are always friendly and make you feel at home, even if you’re new to kava.

10/10 stars!! love this place. No standard café or bar can come close to matching its vibes. Best place to hang, play chess, get work done, whatever. The drinks give you a lovely buzz and the late night hours are the best! Me and my bf come here all the time. Matt is the most awesome and attentive kava server.

Overall this is a great place to hang out and bring friends I do find it a little bit expensive and habit forming so if you’re not used to the stuff then don’t drink it it costs a lot of money. $50 + a day is wild.

This place is my all time favorite! And I’ve used kratom for over 5 years. I love the hospitality here, theyre pet friendly and really do have some of the best/strongest drinks in town. Maddy goes above and beyond to care for all of the guests here as well as the rest of the crew. This place provides me with a second family and is always top 3 places to go when I’m looking to unwind, can’t thank everyone here enough. You have my repeat business for sure!

I love stopping by island root late night-early morning. My favorite Kavatender has to be Will. I feel like he’s always in a good mood(considering the hours he works that’s impressive lol). He’s honestly the main reason I stop in now as much as I do. Great kava and good vibes overall.

Great spot to hang out with friends, relax after work, date night, kill time, and to meet some great people. They’re open 24 hours a day and the vibe is always on point! The bartenders here are friendly and hygienic. Jess is wonderful company, and Kevin and Rob are some of the best father’s I’ve ever met, they keep the night shifts chill and entertaining.
