The intro-
In town for work, staying at the hotel next door and walked over here for dinner based on the reviews (and it was close).
The opinion & warning-
I don’t know what kind of experience with sushi or Japanese cuisine the people have that are writing these reviews but, if you’re reading mine, and considering this place as a dinner option, you may save yourself some time and money by walking across the street to 7-11 and finding the same quality sushi in one of their coolers.
The offerings-
$13.95 for a tall Sapporo. $20.95 for the couple bites in the bento, which were incorrect and didn’t include the sashimi I had ordered with the meal. [Dinner box- you pick 1 thing from column A and 2 things from column B]. $15.95 for the roll, that was supposed to be softshell crab and spicy tuna.
Not sure where the crab went, unless perhaps it managed to claw its way off of the plate in the ocean of unagi the roll was served with.
The conclusion-
I don’t have an issue whatsoever paying for quality sushi (quality being the key word) but this fare was far below expectations based on the four star reviews that go along with it.

THIRTY DOLLARS for chicken and shrimp hibachi and this is what we got. TWO SHRIMP and a few pieces of chicken and veggies thrown on top. My husband picked this up on the way home or else I would have dropped it right back off and collected my money. The food was bland and the veggies barely cooked.

Such a wonderful place, almost reminds me of restaurants in Japan with the wood interior. The green tea was amazing, light and refreshing, hot too. The food came out fresh, all was delicious. But forgot most of our order, sorry . We started with Miso soup was great, Aged Tofu was HOT and very good (I would definitely order this again), Soba noodles was a warm feeling; similar to ramen without broth. The noodles were not dry, toasted sesame flavor.

This place is one of my top 3 favorite places for sushi in the Isle ofWight and Suffolk areas. Great food quality at average sushi place prices. Recommend lunch’s for the lower prices (but also slightly less food). Never had bad fish or food here. Limited dinning tables but they also do takeout, if you do make sure to call ahead.

Found this place online and went because they had decent reviews and offered soy paper as a seaweed alternative. This was a birthday dinner for a teenager and she was super excited to go out as we rarely go anywhere with shellfish because of allergies (they stayed home during this dinner).
We ordered, she claimed the food was good and filling. She ordered a few rolls and steak teriyaki later into the meal. Rolls came out first, fine. Teriyaki came out second and once the server placed the plate on the table, a roach crawled off of the plate. I said bug and the server reached over, squished it and walked away. Refused to take the food, plate, or alter the bill. We will not be returning and the health department both city and state level has been called.

Just ordered from this place not too long ago because I had a taste for sushi. However, I was disappointed. It’s mostly rice and rarely any meat in the sushi rolls. I could’ve just ordered a side of rice. For the price of what I paid, 38 dollars. I definitely didn’t get what I paid for & I probably won’t order from here again.

The buy 2 get 1 free specialty rolls were so delicious. It was very hard to make a choice. We also got the teriyaki chicken dinner. Food was outstanding and service was magnificent. I wished we lived in Virginia so we could eat here all the time.

Ate here tonight since staying next door. For me it was just ok and nothing special. Girl who took my order seemed ready to go and felt kinda hurried to order. Typical sushi and appetizers I’ve had and tasted the same at many other places in my travels.
