My food was absolutely disgusting. My food was old there is no other way to describe it. Food was bland and unseasoned. I was absolutely livid, I just went to bed hungry. I will never go there again and wouldn’t recommend. The nerve to serve old food and fish at that. Then tore it apart and dropped it in the container. My husband didn’t want to hurt the lady feelings when she opened it nor make a scene. He felt it might’ve tasted better than it looked. No! I’m good.

I was visiting with my family and thought this would be a nice spot for lunch. My husband ordered the stew peas which was nice 6/10. I made the mistake of ordering the fried chicken is wasn’t done and was bloody on my plate. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I just left with my husband and daughter his food was decent mine hurt my stomach afterwards. The rice Auth oxtail gravy was nice I was completely turned off when I saw the bloody chicken I went to chick fil a after. The lady was very nice and friendly I felt bad that I had a bad experience with my food. Everything else was fine just don’t order the fried chicken.

I must say this restaurant was a bad experience! I normally read reviews when I’m searching for good restaurants but didn’t get a chance to this time. Big mistake! First off, it’s definitely not a warm, appealing nor friendly establishment. Second, you don’t get much meat for the price. Last, the food is NOT good!! When I first started eating the oxtails my stomach started turning!! It’s like, I started feeling sick suddenly. But the jerk chicken sure was dry and didn’t taste like REAL “jerk” chicken. The cabbages were so not well cooked or seasoned at all! Rice was trash too! I’m really disappointed that I spent my money at this place because I definitely knew better off of my first impression

I know everyones taste buds are different, but for the 1st time in my life I have bn disappointed in any jamaican restaurants oxtails. I dont know if it was bc It was late or what happened. These “Jamaican Oxtails” tasteed like neckbones with no love. Cabbage was bland, the rice and peas were ok and the plantain were plantain. My wife got the fish and chips. She bit into the fish gagged and threw her entire plate away. I spent $40 on our meal, but I was expecting to have the real deal. Absolutely no love put into this. ZERO!!

I recently visited this spot and was blown away! The food was full of authentic flavor — everything was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and made with love. The chicken soup had the perfect amount of heat, and the oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains brought it all together beautifully.

I ordered the shrimp and grits today because I Doordash part time and whenever I deliver from here the food smells delicious so I wanted to try them. Well I was so disappointed I wish I would’ve looked at my food before leaving the restaurant because I would’ve requested a refund. I had extremely more grits than shrimp, they gave me 6 tiny shrimp, not even medium shrimp smothered in I guess what was butter. They put it in a Styrofoam tray so by the time I got it home the butter leaked out of the container onto the napkins in the bag. I also ordered plantains they were extremely greasy. I got my husband 2 beef patties he said they was good so 1 point for that. I will not trust my nose over vision and taste ever again. I will only deliver from this place not eat.

First time here. Babe wanted chicken foot soup from the other Caribbean restaurant that is located at the other end of the Plaza but I decided to give this place a try. Let’s get into the P & C’s for this spot:

✅Very clean restaurant
✅Beef patties were cook to perfection
✅Descent customer service
✅Nice reggae music
Con’s
❌Chicken soup was not fresh
❌Chicken soup had no flavor
❌Dumpling in soup was too thick
❌No Mac and Cheese was available
❌Jamaican Black Rum cake didn’t have that true rum kick.
Overall, I really don’t think I will circle back to this spot.

I ordered “jerk chicken Rasta pasta” …… WHAT IS THIS?!? it is NOT supposed to look like this!! Where is the sauce?!? The chicken was dry and there was no sauce on the pasta, just dry. mind you, I’ve never had Rasta pasta with pasta noodles that look like this. I did not eat this trash.
