I am giving three stars as an average of my collective experiences at Island Fresh. I’ve had amazing Pizza here, I prefer their small pizzas over the large. One small cheese pizza with extra cheese and I’m in heaven – on their good days, I’d give them five stars. Unfortunately, consistency doesn’t seem to be Island Fresh’s thing….the last 4 times I’ve been there, it was so bad, giving them one star seemed like it was too much. Burnt pizza, oily pizza, cold pizza, incompetent staff, rude staff, no napkins, no plates, I’ll stop there, i think i made my point. I hope they go back to being fabulous, I miss those 5 star cheese pizzas!!

What a gem! They have been here 8 years and we just discovered them this visit. Fantastic pizza and subs! Delicious and fairly priced. Subs were generous and pizza cooked perfectly and toppings were just right! Thin crust was amazing and thick pizza was not too doughy and still crisp. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. Owner is friendly and personable and pricing is extremely fair.

I had such a wonderful experience here. Stumbled in late and there weren’t any slices left so I ordered a small pie with fresh green peppers. The woman taking my order was so lovely and thoughtful. She was careful to ask how I wanted the peppers, heated with the pie in the oven or placed raw and cold on the cooked pie. It was the latter and she took care to adorn the pie in a pretty way with the rings of bel pepper. It tasted soooooo good! I was eager to get home to watch the debate with Harris and Trump, and ate most of the pie on the drive home washed down with a ginger ale. It was too tasty to resist.

Not good. Ordered over the phone for takeout. They weren’t doing pizza slices so we ended up just getting two Caesar salads. When I got there to pick up he said he only had one Caesar dressing left and asked what kind of dressing I wanted for the other salad. So basically $40 and change for two styrofoam containers of bag lettuce with strange chucks of bread (croutons?) and some parm with almost no dressing.

Great people great food. SHOUT OUT to Maria in the back she makes the best brazilian lunch on island. The owner spends lots of hours working making sure quality is good for the pizza’s and the dough is freshly made.
