I ordered oxtails and whole fish for take out and my heart absolutely SANG when I opened these boxes. I knew they’d be large servings coz they were HEAVY, but I didn’t expect such generous portions of MEAT. They looked so good and tasted even better. I order oxtails every chance I get and theirs is one of the best I’ve had, not just in Pinellas but anywhere in Florida. The whole fish was still nice and crispy even if it’s been doused with sauce. Even the fried dumplings were so good and tasty!

I jJust got the jerk chicken, beef pattys, extra greens (IUKTUK!) and a side of their fried dumplings.
Their food is consistently and I’m so happy they’re near me.
Hands down – they have the best fried dumpling in St Pete and also the only pattys I can seem to find that are homemade. Seriously, the pattys are so good.
The husband and wife team that runs it are so genuinely friendly as well. I can’t wait to branch out and try some other things.

This place was amazing. My husband had jerk chicken rice and peas and cabbage.
I had brown stew chicken rice and peas and cabbage.
We also had a beef patty on coco bread.
This place was amazing we will be back for sure.
And did I forget to mention the service was the best I ever had it.

This was the smallest portion of food I’ve ever gotten at a Jamaican spot.. I paid 14 bucks for curry chicken and was shocked to see that this is what I got.. 3 pieces of chicken over rice and peas, a small amount of cabbage..and a dumpling ball??? I’m from Fort Lauderdale where Jamaican spots are a big thing and they give us our moneys worth to where u can share it with someone.. I wish I can get my money back..I won’t be returning. I’ll just have to drive further to another Jamaican spot!

They opened early for me when they didn’t have to, best collard greens I’ve ever had. Amazing portions. Jerk was very good as well. Rice and peas were amazing ! 10/10 recommend this place!

The escovitch fish is out of this world! I could drink the sauce it was so good. The fish was perfectly cooked, the vegetables on top were delicious and the corn bread on the side the perfect compliment. Highly recommended!!!

I want to give them 5 stars but I just cant. I Ordered the jerk chicken lunch and the plate wasn’t even full and I got ONE plantain and ONE chicken leg that was cut into pieces. I wanted to order oxtails as well, and I was told that it wouldn’t be ready until 1pm. It was about 12:25pm, the restaurant opens at 11:30am and they are only open Friday-Sunday, so I was confused as to why ALL the food wasn’t ready. The staff was really nice but I don’t think I will be going back here.

I’m glad they finally opened so I could try it. Authentic and great tasting Jamaican/Caribbean food. Went in yesterday and had to go back again today. When I don’t feel like making my own food, this is now my go-to spot!

Wayne and Diane were very welcoming, the food was incredibly good!! Wish they were open more days a week. But I’m willing to sacrifice with only weekends with how good their food is. Will be back again, Wayne promised to bring the beer next time!!
