This is by far “thee” best creamery I’ve ever been to in my entire life! Do yourself a favor and make the trip here. Their flavors are so good that you’ll want seconds as soon as you finish your first scoop. You will have plenty to choose from when you visit. When you do visit, you’ll get to meet happy and oh so friendly staff that you get the pleasure of being served by. It’s vest to go at a slow time so you can sample multiple flavors and really hone in your choice. It’s a difficult thing. My favorites are the key lime pie and cantaloupe! Yes, cantaloupe is a flavor, and I was instantly saddened when I realized I’d eaten it all because it just tasted so good! If I lived anywhere near here, I’d be flat broke and 600 lbs because I’d have no self-control to stop eating. I’m not the only one who feels this way because they’ve been voted #1 creamery in the nation, apparently, and it’s easy to see why after one visit. So theft time you’re ever near Ocean City Maryland, take a short drive to this little place of absolute heaven.

The ice cream is so good! I’m stuck on the Java Jolt flavor, but so many wonderful choices! I must go back and try another. And the lovely staff will give you a half scoop of two different flavors in one cone! And they really pack the cones! Biggest single scoop you can get.

I had the waffle cone with an extremely generous single scoop of almond joy ice cream. My brother had a cake cone with bourbon flavored ice cream and cheesecake flavored ice cream. We really enjoyed the ice cream and sitting in the alleyway along the shop. The shop, btw, rates among the top ten in the country! We can see what.

I had orange cream in a waffle cone. The ice cream was delicious, but the waffle cone wasn’t to my taste. All in our group loved their selected flavor. They even had vegan chocolate for our very allergic granddaughter. She wanted more!

The Island Creamery always has great ice cream and I love they have a shop in Berlin! They have a wife variety of flavors and have some rotating/seasonal options so there is always something new to try.

After constant recommendations for Island Creamery, we went down and tried it…sadly, it wasn’t as good as the hype. We selected Butter Pecan as our flavor, and it was in no way “buttery” tasting. It wasn’t a rich yellow in color, but rather pale. Taste was bland, and pecans were “soft”. My husband agreed as well. We decided to give it one more try, and went with the Cake Batter flavor. Although it was better than the Butter Pecan, it wasn’t great. Kind of too sweet, with an odd aftertaste. We asked to sample the Birthday Cake & Bourbon Caramel Crunch as well, while we were there. Didn’t care for those flavors either. We’re not planning a third visit. I will say that the pricing was on point ($5 single scoop in a cup) with most local ice cream places, and service was friendly, but we didn’t love the product.

We tried this place on a whim while visiting Berlin this morning. I got the Bourban Caramel Crunch ice cream in a cup. Oh my gosh!!! It was out of this world delicious. Even my partner (who never strays from his strawberry flavor) said it was excellent ice cream. Highly, highly recommend. Service was great and prices were reasonable.

Chocolate peanut butter with a waffle cone had a great flavor, great texture, and was very rich. Portions are rather large. Selection is great. Seating is outside in a small alley with tables and benches.

One of our favorite stops for homemade ice cream. Staff are friendly, and even when there’s a line out the door, they are staffed to keep things moving. Outdoor seating between the buildings is convenient. But the ice cream is fantastic! We get a one-scoop waffle cone (which is more like two scoops) and try to get something different each time. About $6 per cone including tax, but it is well worth it. I tried the cherry vanilla yesterday. Whole juicy cherries out weighed the vanilla…it was delicious. My husband’s butter pecan had whole pecans and was very tasty. We drove from Fenwick Island to Berlin in Sunday going-home beach traffic for an ice cream cone. So it must be outstanding.
