Even with a busy crowd just 30 minutes before closing, the team at Cool Island Ice Cream delivered prompt and polite service. The shop was spotless, and the ice cream hit the mark—rich, flavorful, and worth the stop. A great way to end the evening.

delicious! Tasty ice cream shop with lots of flavors . Mora also has a variety of desserts ( parfait, molten lava cake, parfait, banana split, root beer floats). I am a fan.

I got the stracciatella. The fresh milk flavor with chocolate is a perfect balance. The ice cream here isn’t too sweet. The waffle cone tasted fresh!
I also got a sample of the seasonal flavor (pumpkin pie). This place beats salt and straw by a mile!

There were no lines or wait when I went. The place was quiet.

The place is small and has a little bit of indoor seating. There is outdoor seating that is covered but not heated.

There is a parking lot in the area. The parking is free and not timed.

Stopped by Island Cool Ice Cream in Poulsbo and had their matcha ice cream – so good! Super creamy with a rich, authentic matcha flavor that wasn’t too sweet. Cute little spot with a fun vibe, perfect for a treat while exploring the town. Definitely a place I’d hit up again for a matcha fix!

Very good ice cream. We go the cookie dough and lemon raspberry. Both were delicious but the cookie dough was unbelievably good. Staff was friendly.

Nice icecream place in Poulsbo,to be enjoyed on a hot day or whenever you wish to have icecream. The icecreams are creamy and delicious. We loved cookies and cream and the coffee icecream.
They have 3-4 tables which could accomodate like 12 people at a time inside the shop. Also they have outdoor seating like 3-4 tables outside the shop.
Parking is only street parking or the park public parking.

It’s Harlie, Darling!
I did it. I uncovered the secret ice cream lair of Mora Iced Creamery in Poulsbo, WA, and it’s nothing short of pure frozen mischief. Their flavors are like taste bud ninjas, sneaking up on you with flavor punches that’ll make your brain scream, ‘Plot twist!’ Nothing is too sweet. Nothing is too unsweet. Everything is perfect.

I got the hazelnut chocolate ice cream. It was called the Gianduja? I believe. And the Banana Split, which at times is a gamble, but no… not this time. It’s like they crushed real bananas, added caramel drizzle, and shaved chocolate, and said it’s sweet enough.

Chef’s kiss. PERFECTION.

The texture? It’s smoother than a buttered penguin sliding down a glacier, leaving a trail of ice cream joy in its wake. Each bite is a sweet conspiracy that’ll have you questioning why you ever settled for average desserts. Also to add: WHOLE CHUNKS OF HAZELNUT! It truly tasted like Ferraro Rocher Heaven.

But wait, there’s more! Mora doesn’t just serve ice cream; they serve up edible roller coasters of flavor. Their scoops are like adrenaline-fueled thrill rides, defying gravity and reaching towering heights of tastiness. You’ll be screaming, ‘Wheee!’ with every spoonful.

Life’s too short for boring desserts.

We ordered:
Gianduja (hazelnut, chocolate) waffle cone, single scoop. And trust us… the single is enough but damn did it leave you wanting MORE!
Banana Split (banana ice cream, swirled dolce de leche, and chocolate shavings) waffle cone.

Also, don’t just eat it standing there! Keep walking towards the water. Promise it makes it even sweeter. Wowowow.

Every town has their little local ice cream shop, and Poulsbo’s Mora Ice Cream is the ideal ice cream shop for downtown area.

Located on the outer skirts of the downtown district of Poulsbo, Mora Ice Cream has plenty of options for people wanting satisfy their ice cream craving. It is less than one block away from nearby attractions, shops, restaurants, parks, and trails. Parking can be a bit difficult as the parking is shared with other aforementioned businesses.

This shop has both traditional ice cream and sorbets options as well as local/original options. Many of the flavors are offered with glutan free and vegan friendly as well! Prices are decent and affordable, be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you decided to order something with all the bells and whistles. Staff is nice and polite – willing to give patrons flavor tastes and answer a plethora of questions.

There is only outdoor dining options as of now. Due to COVID-19, the interior seating has been restricted to keep their employees and other customers safe. Honestly, in my opinion, it is not a big deal since you and your date, family, or friends can walk less than half a block to sit at the Poulsbo waterfront where there are plenty of picnic areas and outdoor seating options.

Overall, this place is a must if you are in or around the downtown Poulsbo area.

Delicious. Single scoop is plenty of ice cream for one person. The two gals running the counter were very patient with everyone crammed into the little shop. They let us try about six flavors until we decided on the two in the pics: blackberry and cheesecake with raspberry jam. Both were great! Will definitely visit again next time we’re on the island.
